Check out my brothers blog posting for June 26 to see what some people are calling fat: just FYI you do not necessarily have cellulite just because you're fat. I've known people who were considered obese but didn't have cellulite. The model in question is not fat! I'd really like to see the people who calling her fat wear the same outfit she is and have themselves judged by others.
On the high fuel costs. I don't think it's set in with some people that everything is higher because of the high cost of oil. Personally I haven't noticed people behaving more responsibly on the roadways. They speed just as much and there are just as many cars with single occupants as there were before gas hit 4 bucks a gallon. In Austin less than 2 percent report changing their driving habits compared to the more than 4 percent in the western states. I have noticed more people waiting at the bus stops during my morning walks than there has been this time of year. Could be the awful heat and the high gas prices that accounts for this.
Photo 1: Run-Tex supplies fresh cold water and cups to thirsty joggers, runners, walkers, etc. everyday. A big THANK YOU to them for this great free service. Photo 2: One of the 'paddle boats' that take tourists down the Colorado on sight seeing trips in the summer months.
