Still

it has snowed all day and eve - photo: underneath morn snow daffodils sleep - still _rRose

Picture from Hometown

         "In every Winter's Heart

There is a Quivering Spring -

And behind the veil of each night

                           There is a smiling dawn."

_Gibran

This winter has been long and cold, but as I think of a single unique beautiful snowflake - what a delicate fragile thing - yet coming together snowflake gatherings give us magical beauty!

Their mighty fallings shut down entire states bringing out heavy equipment to work their gatherings.

Many times we can only wait the snowflakes passing our way.

And as we wait - somehow fireplaces burn brighter-if electric is out-oil lamps become the richest light-popcorn and hot chocolate suddenly seem to taste better-boxes of stored games-cards-and puzzles come out to tables-books-movies become the best you ever read or saw and comfort foods magically  appear!

Ah, the snow angels - snowmen - snow" ice cream"- sledding - skiing - photography views -

not to mention shoveling snow! :)

Well, you know the rest of the story.

For my Southern family enjoy throwing a few snowballs! :)   _rRose

Brrrrr... brings back memories.  I could handle it better than.  I live in California and I get cold here.  Imagine?  Very beautiful, though.  I loved growing up with it.
