When I get Rich and Famous

Both my Brother (MAX D. BARNES) and I were Inducted into the AMERICAN OLD TIME COUNTRY MUSIC HALL of FAME and MUSEUM  on Sept. 2nd  2006.

I am so honored and proud to be WITH my (deceased) little Brother in this Museum...located in Anita, Iowa. We were born in Hardscratch, then raised in Logan and then Omaha, Nebraska. We both spent many years singing, playing and writing songs there, before we Both went to Nashville.

Max D. is also in the NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS' HALL OF FAME.

I am not THERE, yet...but...I am not dead yet, and still aiming for that destination, too. I could use your prayers...it is a long tough road...Thank you. Ruthie Steele
