The Impossible Dream

Feeling Cranky I wanted nothing more then for my 2 days off for it to pour down rain. I love sitting at home, in the dark, listening to the rain outside. Either watching a movie, napping, maybe reading a book. Its something I truly love. I have ever since I was little. I remember being at my gparents house growing up and the summer showers would come in. In their living room they have a sliding glass door and the tv isnt always on. My gma sitting in her chair reading and me laying by the door reading my Mini Pages, listening to the rain hit the concrete patio.
Now there are some exceptions to this. I dont like alot of thunder and lightening. Some, but not too much. I dont wanna drive in it. And no tornadoes.
With Dolly in the Gulf I knew I would have a chance to enjoy the rain my way.
Tuesday: nothing. But it rained Tuesday night. (while I was sleeping)
Wednesday: eh alittle rain for 5 mins in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. But it poured down Wednesday night. (while I was SLEEPING!!!!)
I woke up Thursday, get ready for work, and make my way to the car. Its raining. Great! I get in the car and drive to work. I park and its coming down in buckets! Urgh. Thats so annoying. I run in the building, getting pretty wet. And it proceeds to rain buckets for 2 hours of so.


I hate everything weather related. Its all a bunch of lies.
LIES I'S TELL YA!
"They" get everyone all hyped up and then its such a let down.

Feeling Anxious Dolly is going to force me to run another Humberto like entry. I can not stand to get all hyped up and then not even barely have any rain. Its so annoying....
Wow as soon as I started typing this it started raining. And the wind is blowing pretty hard. But its sporadic bc now its not raining and the sun is kinda shining.

When I finally made it outta my house yesterday to get my car washed and such, there was a package on my porch. The husband next door was outside and said UPS had came and no one answered so he told UPS he would keep an eye on it. So I was talking to him about that, what time they came?, did they knock?, etc when grumpybutt lady comes out and starts cussing me out to him. Saying something about me being a bitch and the husband is sitting there shaking his head at her and finally gets up and says I'm outta here. She storms back inside and slams the door. Then opens the door back and yells to him dont you apologize to that bitch for me! then slams the door again.
I put the package inside and go out to the car where he husband is standing and he just shakes his head at me. I never said anything to either one of them.
I run the errands and then pick up Russell and we go grocery shopping where he runs into one of his old friends. Which is good bc Russell needs more friends.
Anyway when we are walking up to the apt grumpbutt lady is sitting outside by herself and I'm thinking OH GAWD! I dont wanna see her anymore. She makes me so uncomfortable. Its like having to pass the bully on the way to school everyday. We get up to our door and she turns to me (oh no!) and says Rhianna I'm sorry I've had alot on my mind and its stressed me out. So I apologize.

HOLY CRAP!
I was totally taken back by that. I just stood there in silence when finally I said ok. I accept your apology.
Can you believe that? She apologized. Now I dont think her excuse was very good but whatev! I still feel all weird. Like still have my guard up but hey its progress.

So now I'm going to take a nap and it better be raining when I get up!

Feeling Bored This birthday was really the worst in my life. Not bc of the actually birthday or any of the parties. We are just having a really horrible time money wise and it was just a bad time to be celebrating me. So I'll write this one off and hope next years goes better.
I did have a bday party Saturday night for a few friends and Sunday was my family party.

I really need to be running errands right now but its hot and I'm feeling really lazy today. I won a free carwash at work and I need to swing by the bank to cash my bday checks. Also we need to do some grocery shopping. Dont know how the weather is going to be tonight and tomorrow since we are under a warning for TS Dolly. I hope we get some good rain. We need it.

Speaking of work one of the coaches left and Katie and Ken (my boss and bosses boss) are trying to get me that spot. Its supposed to just be temporary BUT who knows. Maybe it will become more then temp! Some of the people there started off in a "temp" position. So fingers crossed and prayers said!

Feeling Bummed I've told you'll about my crazy neighbor who hates Russell for no reason. Well I've got a good one for ya!
Sunday as I was backing out of the carport I see her walking back from the dumpster and she points her finger at me. I'm confused as to what she wants and almost back all the way up to ask what was up. But I'm running late and figure whatever. Well then it clicks that she wasnt pointing, she was FLIPPING ME OFF!!!!
All day at work it was driving me crazy. Why would she do that? I had decided I was going to say something to her. So when I get home she's sitting outside and I start to talk to her and she starts yelling that she has nothing to say to me, etc.
I had no idea what was going on. Her husband was out there and I tell him about how she flipped me off this morning. When she cuts me off and said I called her a Bitch!
I didnt. I didnt even know she was there. I went off on her and said we dont have to be friends, we dont even have to be neighborly but there is no need for her to be so ugly towards us, especially me. I didnt do anything to her. She keep a table w/ plants on it thats 1/2 on our side of the patio and I drew a line and said get your crap off our side.
It went back and forth for a few mins and then I stormed inside. And burst into tears. She is such an ugly person. I just dont get it. I never did anything to her and there is no reason for her to be like that to me. And about the whole "bitch" thing, if someone said it, its bc its true. But it was NOT me. I think she may have imagined it. Her son says she has mental problems. But I dont feel that excuses her from being so rude and ugly.
Russ and I went to the office to complain. Apparently we arent the only ones. We feel like we are being harassed. She sits outside all day and we feel uncomfortable going out there.
It is really lame when you are feuding w/ your neighbors. Your home is supposed to be relaxing and happy. But when I hear her voice or see her sitting there when I'm leaving or coming home it stresses me out. Urgh.

On top of that happy day we are having money probs again. We went $52 neg and the bank charged $315 in overdraft fees. Then my card that I did authorize for 1 website shared my card info for like 10 others and there out there in the www taunting me. I could wake up tomorrow and have another $400 drafted in charges and overdraft fees. The bank basically said I have to contact the companys and ask to be canceled and refunded. I dont know any of the companys except the one I authorized and I canceled that acct the same day. Of course they wont help me. I should have seen there (scamming) notice that I would be subscribe to all these other sites also.
Its all a bunch of bull. I called and canceled my debit card. Hopefully there wont be anymore charges. But the guy couldnt guarantee that no charges would go thru. What a wonderful birthday for me. Once again I get to use all my bday cash on stuff not for me.

Feeling Cheerful

1. Do you ever change the ring tone on your phone? What is your current ring tone? What cell phone service do you use now? Are you happy with said service? What sort of phone do you have? Are you happy with your phone? How often do you use your cell phone in a 24-hour period?

I love my phone. I'm addicted to it. I have a ring tone for each of my fav 5's, that were thought out, or mean something. Well my newest download is Fall for You by Secondhand Serenade. It was for my hubbys ringtone. I have Tmobile. I dont have any complaints. I have good service. I have a black Samsung T439 I think. Its not the newest most trendiest phone but I like it.

2. The year is half over (can you believe it?!) - think back, where were you at midnight, when it became 2008? If you made goals for ‘08, what were they and have you met them? What would you like to accomplish before ‘08 is over? Tell us ONE thing you absolutely MUST have done before the year is out.

I was at my mom's bff house w/ all my family and some of the "family" friends. I think we missed the countdown bc we were on the wrong chn. So we pretended and kissed. Popped poppers. No goals. We made a goal in Jan to pay off the truck this year and get a house. Its getting there. The must is the truck. It needs to be paid off.

3. It’s Saturday – are you going to lounge around the house and be sloppy? Or are you going to be social and run errands and catch up with friends? Sloppy or social?

Well my Saturdays are Tuesday so I'll answer for that day. I lounge around most the day. Sometimes I run errands, but I usually save those for "Sunday." So I'd say sloppy, but then every Tuesday night is WOP, girls night out. And then I'm social.

4. If you could live one day in the life of your favorite TV character, who would it be and why?

I wouldnt want to be him but I'd love to be in the show Scrubs. I think that show is the funniest best cast show in a long time. I sometimes have dreams that I'm in the show. Or that I'm hanging out w/ the characters. Its sad.

Feeling Cheerful "Do you have to work today?"

"WHAT? What time is it?"

 "7! Crap. I overslept."

Thats how my morning started. What a great way to begin the day!?!? But it actually got alot better. When I got to work there was still a close spot. Yay. Then when I get inside I find out my work BFF was talking about my interview w/i earshot of my boss. Boo. So I have to say something to her b4 she finds out from someone else. She would be upset if she heard it thru the grapevine. She took it really well and understood my reasons. I did explain that nothing was certain yet and I was just looking around. She said she didnt want to lose me. Its nice to hear.
Then I get a phone call that my glasses are in. Wahoo! I've been waiting forever it seems. I couldnt wait to get off so I could go get them. And today was Russells payday so it was just an all around good day.
Nothing else going on over here. I really need to do laundry but we have a laundry thief in the complex and I dont wanna sit outside for 1 hr and 15 mins while my clothes wash. Urgh that sucks.
Anyway. Thats all for now.

Feeling Enlightened
Hearing Im so Hood ~ DJ Khaled Today while at work I got a call back for an interview. I went straight from work to the interview. I think it went really well. We chit-chatted but not too much. They seem to have a high turn over rate so they go real slow for the hiring process. This interview was a short quicky one just to get the basic's outta the way. What the job would require, pay, etc. They wanna make sure you are aware so no one waste anyone's time. I'm extremely excited. Its kinda like my current job but w/ alittle more interaction and not quite a stagnant. The daily tasks would not just be in front of a comp for 8 hrs. So say a prayer, cross your fingers, light a candle, what ever it is that you do, to send good thoughts this way.

I got another bday present yesterday. From my Bro in law and his family I got a really nice Silpada bracelet but.... it doesnt fit. Its too tight. Darn my fat wrist. Its so nice. But it didnt come w/ a receipt or anything and I'd feel bad asking. Maybe I'll try contacting the website to see if they have some kinda return policy. **Just emailed them to we'll see where we get w/ this.

We tried the new Pizza Hut dessert. Its so freaking good. They're these chocolate dunky things. OMG! I would say 10/10 if you love chocolate. SO you should try em. They are the best pizza delivery dessert ever!

Umm... honestly. He was married and I was dating Russell. Yes I know. I'm horrible.

I dont have a back door. Outside my front door is the courtyard to the apt complex and the pool.

No. I was lucky enough to use Pell Grants and other grants. And anything else not cover my mommy paid.
