Woot, so proud of my girl! She made one of the top two officers on her drill team for next year :) haha and as mom to lt major, what have I gotten myself into ? Its gonna be a busy year for both of us for sure ;)

I have a really hard time getting inspired during the winter time. I guess I get the winter blues really bad. I have a hard time getting up and functioning. So I spend alot of time looking through blogs, magazines and books, trying to find something to inspire me to do something! Today i found some of the prettiest ideas for cottage decorating on Artsy mamas blog. Here is a link:

I love the use of chenille, and the sweet banners over her childs curtains. Makes me wanna go home and decorate! Who are some of your favorite blog artists? I was reading on artsymamas blog about Sommerset magazine. I've never looked at it, but her blog about it makes me wanna go find a current issue! Do any of you read it regularly?  What do you do when you have the blues to get yourself inspired?

OH MY GOSH! I need these teatowel by Martha stewart for Kmart! Jen Duncan http://jenduncan.typepad.com/whats_new/ posted these on her blog. She added her own letters, but aren't they darling? I NEED SOME!

I suppose yall all wonder where the heck i've been! Well, school has started and with work and Megans activities, I am staying pretty busy. Shes on highschool drill team, and it takes alot of time. We have been enjoying the football games though! Here are pics of her at the games and of her and her boyfriend before the homecoming dance
