we tried out Texas Roadhouse last night

it's pretty new, here

my John called ahead our take out order

good thing

place was packed

could hardly find a parking space 

they have peanuts you can munch on, while you're waiting

then, just toss the shells on the floor!

I had Oven Roasted Chicken~half chicken trimmed, uniquely seasoned and slow roasted to the perfect tenderness

steak fries

fresh vegetables (carrots, broccoli & cauliflower)

John had Sirloin Beef Tips~tender pieces of sirloin with sauteed mushrooms and onions in a made-from-scratch brown gravy

mashed potatoes

caesar salad

Cactus Blossom~a tasty sliced onion, fried golden brown and served with our special cajun horseradish sauce <--- shared

lots of rolls and butter

plenty of leftovers for lunch today!

  That sure makes me hungry. What a beautiful place, Believe it or not, they are talking a snow advisory here tonight. i will believe it when I see it.

  I've eaten in a few of these restaurants and always enjoyed the experience.  I'm glad one finally got to your neck of the woods.
