Lavender Beach

Even though I complain that I only got to see one substantial snow this year, I wouldn't mind it if we got on with Spring real soon! This lavender patch was at the entrance to a beach in Rehoboth, Delaware. Did you know that lavender oil can cure a headache and relieve stress? If you spritz a little on your pillow you might even sleep better. I love the way it smells; also it attracts butterflies...Happy dreaming of Spring!

    That is some gorgeous lavender!  I have lavender in my yard but the winter is too harsh in western Pa. for it to grow like the east coast. I've been to Rehoboth Beach several times.  That is such a quaint little beach town, or at least it used to be many moons ago when I went there.  HUGS  Chris

    Like you, all though I haven't seen much snow, and I enjoy the looks of snow . . . it's okay . . . I'd much rather enjoy a cool breeze and the sunshine that Spring brings.

    I will have to try that Lavendar on the pillow . . . hmmm.

    I instinctively took a big sniff when I saw the picture of the lavender, but all I could smell was my cup of coffee.  Almost disappointing (but not too.... I love my coffee!)  I don't think I know what lavender smells like, but after the response here I think I will have to check it out.  I'm always in the market for stress relief.  Beautiful shot.

    Rehoboth, Delaware ? I live in Delaware not far from the beach. Maybe an hour from Rehoboth and no ~ I didn't know all those things but I won't forget them. Thanks.
