Neighborhood Spring Walk

Happy

Azalea bush buds. The bushes were such a dazzle of color when the sun hits them you can feel dizzy.

Some volunteer wild flowers at the edge of a creek.

Lilac tree fragrance takes me back to my grandmother's garden...

Step closer to inhale deeper!

These pink blossoming trees are all over.

In for a closer look.

Wonder how long ago someone was riding this and why they left it at the creek?

I loved the contrast of these three trees side by side.

No way to miss this house has a new baby boy!

Back home. Hope you liked our neighborhood walk!

Thank you for stopping by my journal. I guess because of the religious nature, it doesn't get alot of viewing. So I was glad for theme. Hope you visit again.

Hi Sass, what a lovely stroll that was. The Azalea bushes in my yard are 55 years old. They were sooooo spectacular this year UNTIL 75 miles an hour HAIL !!!!!! for 15 min beat all the bloom off . Oh well, there is always next year, but until then, I think I will just enjoy your pictures. Thanks, Marilyn

What a great stroll!!!  I love azaleas!!  The lilac are beautiful.  I haven't seen one in ages.  My great grandmother had two lilac shrubs on each side of her front porch and I miss smelling them.  Thank you so much for sharing!!!
