BUT DO YOU KNOW LUKE 3:16
16John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire

LUKE 3:16 you need the baptism of the Holy Spirit!!!!

you must receive the Holy Spirit!!! (And not only that, but you must OBEY HIM)

In that audio message, the guy speaking says that the main purpose of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is for a greater witness. While i think that is (partially) true, the purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to have eternal life, ie you must be born again, born from above, born of Spirit [baptized in the Holy Spirit] to see the Kingdom of God (ie to be saved)  (John 3; John 17:3 & Eph1:17). I do realize that the guy reads John 20: 22 in conjunction with Acts 1-2. He says that John 20:22 is when the disciples recieved the Holy Spirit, but Acts 2 was when the disciples where first baptized in the Spirit. But, I would say John 20:22 is when they recieved the Holy Spirit, were "born again", "born of Spirit", "born from above" (John 3), but in Acts 2 they recieved a greater infilling and greater measure of power.
Also, I'll mention that I had been baptized in the Holy Spirit before I realized it. I didn't realize I was actually baptized in the Holy Spirit until the first time I spoke in tongues. But anyone who can read the bible with understanding --revelation-- has been baptized in the Holy Spirit.

"Charismatics" like to say that tongues is the evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. But I say the evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a changed life.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I WOULD RATHER BURN WITH THE FIRE OF GOD IN THIS LIFE (LIKE THE BURNING BUSH MOSES SAW, THAT WASN'T CONSUMED) THAN BURN FOR ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BE CONSUMED

LIVING WATER or CONSUMING FIRE?

read 1 Cor 2-3... pay special attention to verses 3:14-15. In chapter 2 Paul talks about the awesome power ofthe Holy Spirit (which is only available after the baptism in the Holy Spirit). At the beginning of chapter 3 Paul rebukes the Corinthians for leaning on their own understanding (instead of acknowledging the Holy Spirit and allowing Him total control of their lives). He continues to say that our foundation in the gospel of Jesus Christ. What we build upon that is determined by us.We will either build using the ways of this world (in our own power) -1 Cor 3:15- or we will build as the Holy Spirit leads us -1 Cor 3:14-...  If you use your own power (though we still need the Baptism in the Holy Spirit [John 3] to be born again) you will be saved, but only as one escaping the flames. If you use the power of the Holy Spirit, all that He has build through you will remain in eternity. Choose NOW.
