man people are gonna think im an a**hole for this but why all the talk about what katrina did to beat down a** new orleans? did we forget what state we talking about? not everyone but a great deal of those people were rotten they glorified voodoo homos the murder rate was ridiculous i think katrina was a long awaited disaster the gov couldnt wait to tear it down and get the blks out... those levees should have been fixed years ago and they knew it ...something like katrina will now give them the opportunity to fix new orleans and make it damn near impossible for "blks" to move back because of the price its gonna be an attraction for a while which brings in alot of money yes it was very pitiful how bush clearly didnt give a sh*t but hey i lived in florida around that time and lemme tell u u can feel too sorry for survivors of katrina who get moved to another state for free and still stealing come on man those people are horrible i respect what "mother nature, God" depending on your beliefs did for that place it gave the teenagers and people with potentially no future a chance at a new environment that many of them would have never gotten...like i hate it when they talk about the history of new orleans man be for real everybody know when u go to new Orleans its for mardi gra "voodoo festival" getting drunk and food thats about it unless u pushing weight but police a lil tight on that now ...but the music and culture in new orleans been died ......but in the same token katrina was a disaster as far as all the money that was raised went to bullsh*t and people died but that happens everyday im just upset it takes a massive hurricane for america to take action and see people need help new orleans been in trouble

I am turly sorry for the people in the city, and wish God's Blessing upon all of them. I pray they find happiness in their lives very soon. If is hard living in a country that really not want you here, even if they are the one's that have you in the country. Use you and then throw you away!! I have wonder how different it would to live in another country? I believe it would better. There are other countries who receive help from your tax, we should stop helping them and help ourselves. Why don't they help us when we need it???? God Bless!!

Nothing more than a dam parade. Instead of jazz musicians and Reverends walking around tehir should be a town meeting where a floor plan will be mapped out and people will be held accountable or someone will rise up and give clear leadership. A fricken dumb parade with all those great people who you just name is simply not good enough. Dont need another march we need some progress and work done.
