Human and Environmental Health

Public Journal
Perhaps, given their current size and rate of growth, humankind's 6.5 bilion+ overpopulation, increasing per human over-consumption of resources worldwide, and the seemingly endless expansion of the world's predominant economy could threaten the health of humanity and global ecosystems, even in these early years of the 21st century.  Can the small, finite, noticeably fragile Earth God has blessed us to inhabit sustain these human "over-growth" activities? Please comment on the emerging scientific data that indicate certain unbridled human activities --- over-propagation of the species, Homo sapiens, over-consumption of limited resources, and continuous increase of over-production/distribution capabilities --- could soon precipitate the unnecessary extinction of biodiversity, the irreversible degradation of the environment and, perhaps, the serious endangerment of humanity. Thank you.
