Feeling Happy
In The Studio 2
Hi! I am glad you could stop by! Well as I promised "In The Studio 2". But before I begin I would like to let you know that Digital Hocus Pocus is accessible! You can click on the link in this article or go to my "Other Journals" and click on the link there.
Well I have to admit I'm hooked! It started with the water drips and now I can't stop. I am having so much fun!
#1 - 3 are from a Christmas Cactus my son gave me when he was in first grade(he is in 6th now) the silly thing won't grow worth a darn but it sure does flower a lot! I used the macro and a desk lamp in front of a black background which help bring the detail of the flower out.
4 & 5 "The Fire Within" was done with just the macro and the black background. No other light source was used. I really though it was neat the way the wax was melting over the candle. It gave the candle more expression.
6 - 8 are an idea that was sparked from an photo I saw at the Aminus3 photo community. All this is, is a water drop on a memorex CD. I used the black background, the desk lamp and the macro again to produce the effects. I never realized how colorful a CD could be!
9 - 11 This was fun! This is just one of those static lamps you buy at the store. I saw this sitting in my sons room and I thought "how cool would that look!" So I got it in front of the black background, no lights, no macro, just normal settings and there you have it! Wild looking photo!
Next will be more Studio work but this time with mirrors! I can't wait to show you! Well I hope you enjoyed In the Studio 2"!
Until next time!
