Learning to Love ... ME

I saw God today… a song that every time I hear, I smile and agree… YES, God is all around us.  Today I went with my niece and her husband for an ultrasound to find out about the baby they are to have in October.  The ultrasound showed tiny toes, fingers, a fluttering heart…and all the things a little girl needs to make her a healthy baby.  I praise God for that.  I so thank my niece and her husband for allowing me to share in the joy of finding out what their baby will be.  I am still smiling and have such a full happy feeling within my heart knowing that there will be a new little princess soon.   God shows us his amazement daily, if only we take the time to sit, listen or to see what is around us.  We are blessed! 

Miracles happen around us…we choose to see them or to ignore them.  Today… as I sat in awe and watched the tiny one growing inside of my precious niece… I praised God for the life that is growing, the promise that in giving us new life means God's allowing life to continue, parts of my ancestors will be sprinkled within this new little girl.  A gift, someone who with her smile will have her daddy wrapped around her little finger… A strong spirit to grown and learn and to prove once again that one should never underestimate the power of love. 

I have put my trust in God to keep Amy and her new baby healthy as She grows… to keep them safely within His arms that she never has fear, but puts her trust that all will go well and that she'll be looking into the face of her little girl soon enough and say… "Yes, I saw God today!"…

Thank You Lord for all the many blessing you've given us.  Thank you for your many gifts, and your grace to be able to believe that all is going well and where it should be.  We really are seeing miracles around us.  Thank you Lord, for family, friends, neighbors, and people I have yet to meet.  Thank you for new friends and for allowing me to trust and believe once again.  I thank you for the laughter the genuine goodness in some people and their abilities to be who they are.  Lord, thank you.  Be with all of the visitors in our area this weekend, be with those who are traveling and keep them safe.  In the name of my Lord and Savior… Amen…
