Fresh Brewed Lemonaide Tea

1/2 gallon picture

8 tea bags,  brewed on stove or in microwave on high for 3 min

8 sweet and low pakets

1 packet of Lemonaide mix

Ice cube or put in frig to get cold.

Drink,  this is what we are selling where I work.  I love this stuff.

At work it is 1.6? At home it is Maybe .5 or .10 a bottle.

It is very good.  It is really different.  I think I like it just because it is new, its a change.

I made the best noodles!

1 box of rigitonie noodles cooked.

+ 1 jar of no name alfredo sauce.

1 package of cooked sausage with minced onions and bacon bits and garlic powder to taste.

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

mix all of these ingredients when done,  then top with 1 brick of mon cheese,  for light,  2 for heavy cheese lovers,  which I am.

garnish with parsley flakes and just a little paprika slightly over top of baking dish.

Bake at 350 just to melt the cheese.

This is really fabulous.

Homemade Pasta

Ingredients
  • 2-1/3  cups all-purpose flour
  • 1  teaspoon dried basil, marjoram, or sage, crushed (optional)
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 2  eggs, beaten
  • 1/3  cup water
  • 1  teaspoon cooking oil or olive oil
Directions

1. In a large bowl stir together 2 cups of the flour, the basil (if desired), and salt. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. In a small bowl combine eggs, water, and oil. Add egg mixture to flour mixture; stir to combine.

2. Sprinkle a clean kneading surface with the remaining 1/3 cup flour. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic (8 to 10 minutes total). Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

3. Divide the dough into four equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each dough portion into a 12-inch square (about 1/16 inch thick). Let stand, uncovered, about 20 minutes. Cut as desired (see photos 1 and 2, directional). If using a pasta machine, pass each portion through machine according to manufacturers directions until dough is 1/16 inch thick. Let stand; cut as desired.

4. To serve pasta immediately, cook pasta according to the chart directional 00.

5. To store cut pasta, hang it from a pasta-drying rack or clothes hanger, or spread it on a wire cooling rack. Let pasta dry overnight or until completely dry. Place in an airtight container and chill for up to 3 days. Or dry the pasta for at least 1 hour; place it in a freezer bag or freezer container and freeze for up to 8 months.

6. Makes 5 servings

7. Food processor directions: Place steel blade in food processor bowl. Add flour, basil (if desired), salt, and eggs to bowl. Cover and process until mixture forms fine crumbs, about the consistency of cornmeal. With the processor running, slowly pour the water and oil through the feed tube. Continue processing just until the dough forms a ball. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Cover; let dough rest for 10 minutes. Continue as directed in Step

Mircrowave Breakfast

4 Hashbrowns laid out

sprinkle with bacon bits,  and minced onions

Cut 2 strips of Colby cheese from aldis, lenth wise,  its just enough

2 eggs mixed ahead,  make sure you spread it to all 4 Hbrowns.

heat on high for 2 min in microwave,

stir it all together when 2 min are done,

then put it back in for 2 min more.

It takes about  5 min to assemble,  and 4 to cook

IT is wonderful.  Dont at salt,  it make enough of it own,  you can add pepper if you want that is fine.

It will serve One starved hungry man or two normal size people for breakfast.

If you add Juice and coffee and maybe toast or cin roll you could even make it serve 4 people.  They would all be satisfied I am sure.

Made this today 6-4-2008

An interesting recipe that one must try and taste. You might be use to the same lemon chicken dish but this has a blast of the sweet flavor of teriyaki.

Ingredients

1/2 C. lemon juice
1/2 C. soy sauce
1/4 C. sugar
3 Tbs. brown sugar
2 Tbs. water
4 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 tsp. ground ginger
4 bone-in chicken breasts

Directions

Combine all sauce ingredients and pour over chicken breasts in a glass dish. Marinate at 2 hours in refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before cooking. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake marinated chicken for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting every 15 minutes and turning chicken once. Marinade will reduce to a thickened sauce which should be served over the chicken when done.
