Feeling Hopeful
Thank you , floods
Our hometown is flooded and we are safe but a lot of family and friends were not so lucky so please keep these families in your prayers .
The salvage yards I once owned and worked at were under water antiques as old as 1920's were destroyed I wanted to cry ... these are car's that won't be able to be replaced...
There were no deaths so far and only property damage so I am thankful for that .....
The school was flooded and hubby went early this morning to help volunteers to clean it out and hopefully they will be usable and safe by Monday, I wasn't able to go but I was proud of him he never does this stuff but I know he knew I was so disappointed because I couldn't help.
My family and friends made fun of me when we built our house 5 feet off the ground lol I once lived in a flood zone and the flash floods scared me so I decided that we would never fear that again , well everyone was looking for Sherry's ark when the floods came .... now if I could get a bigger storm shelter for tornadoes I may feel safe ....
I am happy to report I am down 3 lbs this morning and I am so happy , the moving slow but moving has really helped get the fluid moving .. I am still not able to exercise much but just laying in bed doing exercises slowly and walking around the house more has helped so much .. I hope to lose more by tomorrow but if not I am happy to have lost what I have and hopefully the more I can exercise the more I will get off ...
Your emails ,cards and support this last couple of weeks has been priceless I hope to be able to stay on long enough to read journals soon , I go back to the doctor Tuesday and hopefully there will be some answers . I appreciate you soo much ....

I'm glad you are feeling better--sorry for those effected by the flood. It's hard to see your hometown in disrepair.. :( Take care Julie

Glad you are feeling better and that your family and home is safe.
I had you on my mind when I saw the news stories talking about the floods in your neck of the woods.
Hey your above flood level home sounds like everyones new ones around here....you should get a decrease in your homeowners insurance for that! lol
Stay safe
Hugs

I'm glad you are feeling a little better, but so sorry about the flooding....I'm glad you are safe from it. I will remember everyone in prayer....and I hope it ends soon.
