Feeling Happy
Thinking and weightloss
I am sure that most of you if not all of you are familiar with the little train that could ...
well I like to think that weight loss is a lot like being that little train , for me at least , if I set around and tell myself that I am hungry , I am going to eat , if I tell myself I am tired , I start to feel tired and don't do anything. If I tell myself that I will never lose weight , I won't . If I tell myself I will gain weight I will. get where I am going here.
I am sure a lot of us has done things and thought if I would of. could of. should of. but that won't do anything for you now .Right now we (yes as usual I am talking to myself here ) have to change our way of thinking about weight loss or we are going to be miserable and unhappy the rest of our life.
I watched the biggest loser the other night and Ali made a good point she not only lost the weight , she was working on losing what made her keep the weight. So I am going to work on the mental part of my journey just as hard as I work on the physical part ... it is easy to control food , if we chose to and to get up and exercise .. the hard part or at least the hard part for me is Controlling the mental part...
we all have a negative Nancy in us telling us , we can't , we won't , we shouldn't . but in reality we can, we will and we should try to be the best person we can be ... how you may ask well it comes back to the basic's taking life and weight loss
Now you can add one positive thought or conversation with yourself at a time... it doesn't matter what others tell you it matters what you tell yourself ...
This what I am going to work on and I hope it helps you as well I know we can do this , I know we are worth it ...
Have a great on plan day

You're so right about the mental part of losing weight. The mind is an amazing thing with the way it works. What it can and can't make you do. There have been times when I've been stressed and I cleaned something, really, really good. It kept me from eating and I de-stressed at the same time. This doesn't always work, but sometimes.

I totally agree with you, Sherry; a person needs to figure out why they keep eating uncontrollaby at times and why they reach for food for comfort, etc or all the amount of dieting will not help them keep the weight off once they get to goal; so glad you are working on your mind as well as your body; you will succeed!
