Feeling Happy

Rocky moutain fever and teenage love

The results are back and I definitely have Rocky Mountain tick fever yep that is just what I needed , oh well at least it is treat able and I have a good doctor who caught it in the early stages . I will be taking a huge blue pill  for 14 days I then go back have more blood work and if I am better I am done if not I go on IV's for 3 days, but honestly I think I will be fine .

Teenagers My youngest daughter's boyfriend was having a poor me day today so instead of dealing with the man wannabe  drama she gives me the phone ..seriously and said "talk to him please !" now I would love to tell him to grow some hair and on his chest and call me when he has real problems but that is not what mom's do .. he hates school, his Dad told him to either go to school or join the service ..GI Joe thinks that he can handle the service better than high school "oh please" that boy wouldn't last 3 days and the service would have him crying for his mommy .... so I told him to stand up and he asked why ( why do they always ask why?) I said just stand up and do what I say. now sit down , get up , sit down, after a few minutes he asked again why am I doing this , I said because I said so , now if you don't like to be told when to get up , when to eat , when to sleep , when to rest , when to work You better go back to school and be thankful we have a country where the military is still voluntary , because son, You would be in for a rude awakening, they don't care , and you don't ask why, you just do ... he told my daughter I made him look like a idiot , She laughed and said but did you get the point .... ( there is hope she got the point ...)

Gardening I got my plants and seeds today for my garden, I am so excited , I have zucchini,Tomatoes, Onions, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce, green beans, corn, water melon, peas and I am sure there were more but I am already to go , I will be planting them tomorrow ... I also bought a Rose bush today and we planted it in Momma's memorial garden , out by the pond we have a bridge and we planted that rose bush and the rose bush Ms Linda pooh sent me out there today. They look so beautiful and I know Momma would love to sit there and smell those beautiful flowers, She loved roses...

I am excited we got 6 eggs yesterday My little hens keep this up and I may never have to buy eggs again ... Dad says they will lay good in the spring and fall but when it gets real hot or real cold they may not lay so to enjoy it while I can .. we only use 2 dozen a week roughly  so I will be giving out some to family ..

Monday I know Monday is always the Do over day or the day we all want to start our plan , so no  more I will start Monday because Monday is here , right now , in other words , Don't put off for Tomorrow what you can take care of Today . If  you have already ate to many calories or had that chocolate bar don't freak , it is only the start , stop right now be rational about the rest of day and remember no one is perfect Just take it one bite at a time..

Well that is a Monday update for me , I hope you are all have a good day .

My mom  had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever when she was younger.  I think it was even before I was born.

I had to laugh at your conversation with your daughters boyfriend (and your thoughts as well!), that was funny.  I am sorry to hear you have RMTF...I hope the pills work as an IV doesn't sound like too much fun to me.  I bought some flower seeds yesterday, I gave up on veggies...the deer ate everything I've ever planted.  So good luck with your garden and what a happy hen you must have giving you all those eggs.  :)

I'm finally all caught up with your journal.  Good luck with the gardening, I love to garden.  When I get angry with hubby I go out and weed, pretending I'm ripping hubby's hair out, he's a very hairy man, lol, but the vegetable and flower gardens can be very weed free at times, lol.
I hope the meds work for you and you get better soon.

LMAO ... love the military warning. That's not far from the truth. The only thing about the military is currently they won't take anyone without a high school diploma or a GED. You have to score very well on your GED & then take another test & do very well on it. Emmi
