Sorting the pieces

     You know, April 1rst isn't the best date to tell someone that they're an Editor's Pick.  My first reaction was this has to be a joke, but no, there my journal was. I'm honored at being selected, especially when the theme chosen is spirituality.  I firmly believe that spirituality is the foundation of everything in life and that we can't separate any facet of our life from our spirituality.  Thinking about it all the time would be positively overwhelming, but denying our spirituality carries a heavy price.
     I feel like I ought to give a little intro about myself now.  First off, despite my screen name, I am not a nun.  I chose my screen name so my sister would recognize and respond to my emails first. I am a wife of close to nineteen years and the mother of a 14 year old daughter.  I'm a business woman and a writer. I am a Christian of the mainstream to liberal Protestant variety, and I don't proselytize.  I'm as earthy as I am spiritual and believe that laughter, especially at oneself, is one of the greatest gifts our Creator gave us.  I speak my mind but try to be diplomatic.
     I think I ought to let my journal say the rest, so I'm going to give some links to some entries I've written on spirituality that have really meant a lot to me.  Some may not seem particularly spiritual, but the connection is there.  I hope you enjoy them.
