My last words on Terry Schiavo

http://TAMPA, Fla. (April 16) - State investigators found no evidence that Terri Schiavo had been abused or exploited by either side of her family, according to documents released by Florida's Department of Children and Families.

I am so glad to see this.  If the tragedy of an eating disorder, of brain damage, of slowly losing a daughter and a wife, of having an extended family ripped apart, of having what should be a private family time turned into a political opportunity and media escapade,  and of death threats from people claiming to be pro-life weren't enough, the ugliness of the rumors of spousal abuse by Michael and web sites established by the Schindler family showing Terry in her hospice were the slime icing on a bitter cake.

Here's hoping that the country can exercise some decent manners for a nice change of pace and Shut Up, let Terry Schiavo rest in peace and let her family begin to heal.  On that note, I'll take my own advice.
