Goofy Grape
Remember these? I actually remember the commercials for these drink mixes. There were several other flavors and as a kid we use to freeze it in ice cube trays, the old metal ice cube trays that you had to pull the lever to get the ice to pop out. They were always a pain in the butt to use...lol

Original Spirograph

Remember these? This is an Original Spirograph. You could have hours of fun if you were into drawing and coloring. I had one and loved it. This is the original 1967 version.

Answer to Guess the Song & Artist
Michael Martin Murphy
She comes down from Yellow Mountain On a dark flat land she rides On a pony she named Wildfire With a whirlwind by her side On a cold Nebraska night
Oh, they say she died one winter When there came a killing frost And the pony she named Wildfire Busted down his stall In a blizzard he was lost
She ran calling Wildfire She ran calling Wildfire She ran calling Wildfire
By the dark of the moon I planted But there came an early snow There's been a hoot owl howlin' by my window now For six nights in a row She's coming for me I know And on Wildfire we're both gonna go
We'll be riding Wildfire She ran calling Wildfire She ran calling Wildfire
On Wildfire we're going to ride her We're gonna leave sod bustin' behind Get these hard times right on out of our minds Riding Wildfire
This song has been going through my mind since i posted it...lol

Most terrifying horror movie of it's time.
The Exorcist
Who remembers this movie? The Exorcist came out in the early 70's. I remember going to the theatre to see it. It scared me to death..lol It took me a couple of weeks to sleep through the night without thinking of this movie.
I have found the newest version of The Exorcist as performed by Bunnies.... :)

Another 1960's Tv Series
The Munsters
This was one of my favorite shows. The Munsters. The first showed aired in September of 1964. The head of the family Herman Munster was a funeral parlor employee, his wife Lily was a vampire, together they had a son Eddie ( Edward Wolfgang). Then there was Grandpa, Lily's dad the Mad Scientist and Marilyn, Lily's niece.
It was hysterical fun for the times, The antics between Herman and Grandpa. The family pet named Spot who was a fire breathing dragon that lived under the stairs. Yet they lived as a normal american family or so they thought...lol And their car, very cool.
And their address 1313 Mockingbird Lane. If you are young and have never heard of this show it's worth taking a look at. Good family show. :)

Those were the Days
when kids used their imaginations
Remember when kids used their imaginations and played outside all day long? We used to play a game OUTSIDE yes i said OUTSIDE for hours called kick the can.. It is a variation of hide and seek. But it was good fun at the time.
One person closes their eyes and counts to some high number, while everyone else hides. Then, the person who counted (who has incidentally been guarding "the can") has to run around the neighborhood and find everybody. The tricky part is that once a person is found, they have a race, where the person who has just been found has to try to kick the can over before the counter tags them.
