Southeast Storm: Commentary
Continuing my policy of importing comments from AOL (so few get put on this blog), following is a comment on the story described in the previous entry (it may even be a comment ON the previous entry, which I posted under that story, but I can't be sure), along with my response on AOL:
"It's almost like they are pointing out that praying for rain and then the resulting injury of the children were related. I could be wrong. I don't want to see any children hurt, but the way the story is reported is kind of strange. Everyone knew this drought was a big story and the prayer service controversial, so to make the people that were praying look stupid, they report a nasty storm and kids were hurt. hmmm.....I don't know. What do you think?"
I try not to be totally paranoid about this stuff, even though a main function of my AOL blog, "The Maverick Conservative", is to point out that the mainstream media today is driven by AGENDA and not be objective "news."
However, see my own posts, repeated on "The Maverick Conservative" (see previous entry), as to how STUPID this story and headline is organized AS NEWS. Threfore, I would not bet against an agenda of this sort being behind it.
