Children Should Have Sex
Nope. The above is not my sentiment. As you should know (see previous entries, including several of ver the past few weeks), my position (objectively true) is that SEX (of the non-marital kind) is hazardous to your health (sexaully transmitted diseases, non-marital preganancy, etc.). Look at the statistics from the 1950's and today, and you will find that I am OBJECTIVELLY correct (at least 35% of births today are to unmarried mothers, and a story last week was that sexually transmitted diseases are going OUT OF CONTROL in this country).
Hoever, I have told you before that leftists in this country really FAVOR teenage "exploration of their sexuality" (Boulder, Colorado principal called in CONSUTANTS to explain this to high school students). This is another case of DECEPTION. Leftists will tell you that they don't favor teenage sex, but only that they recognize that teenagers WILL have sex (Portland, Maine school board authorizing birth control pills for 11 year olds--when I started high school in 1960 teenage girls, even OLDER teenage girls, did NOT generally have sex). They lie.
Leftists in this country believe, generally, that "exploring your sexuality", even for teenagers, is a GOOD thing. They are trying to SABOTAGE and stop "abstinence" (I hate that word) educational programs in this country (programs that advise teenagers to abstain from sex as the best way to avoid the really bad consequences of too early sexual actimvity, to the extent of MAYBE, HOORS!!!, waitng until marriage).
Enter the woman that is on TV promoting her ridiculous book (HOW did this stupid thing get published--I refuse to name her or the book, however little extra publicity that might be). This woman blames EATING DISORDERS on "abstinence" eduction, because it is CONFUSING teenage girls starting to "explore their sexuality." Does this "author" suggest that we should do less "confusing" by avoiding ideas like the Portland, Maine policy encouraging sex by 11 and 12 year old girls, or the Boulder, Colorado "advice" on "exploring your sexuality". Of course not. She wants to STOP abstinence programs. Does this woman even suggest that television, movies and society should be LESS saturated with sex? Don't be silly. To her, sex is a GOOD thing. The "confusion" is caused by abstinence programs.
In other words, this woman wants advocates of "abstinence" to SHUT UP (even though we are objectively right). As I have told you, leftists do NOT believe in free speech. To this woman (HOW did this book get published?), SEX is the natural order of things, and people trying to talk about the downside of (non-marital) sex are upsetting the natural order of things. That is a TYPICAL leftist attitude, and it is a LIE that this kind of leftist does not favor teenage sex.
Have I been pretty harsh on people like this? Of course I have. They DESERVE it (as my younger daughter says about the grapefruit she target shoots--don't worry, I don't own a gun). People like this have blood and lives on their hands (as I have shown repeatedly in this blog, and as a mere comparison between 1955 and today shows).
