Halloween, Witches, Race, and Julie Myers
Julie Myers has been nominated to be the nation's "top immigration official" (as the despicable AP puts it). As a woman, you would think that is a pretty good accomplishment (maybe even worty of feminist support--just a thought, as if I did not know that feminist "activists" will NEVER support a Bush Administration nominee).
The nomination is supposedly in trouble. WHY? You can't possibly believe this (I am NOT making it up), and you should vote AGAINST any Senator who takes this position for ANY office. It is because she was one of three judges of Halloween costumes at a Halloween party for employees.
I DID leave out one small detail. The judges awarded the first prize ot an employee who wore a "dreadlocks" wig, a prisoner costume, and darkened the skin--with "Escaped Prisoner" across the chest of the costume.
We have become a nation of PRIGS. This was a HALLOWEEN party. Yet, Democrats opposing this nomination have turned this into a RACIAL issue. According to the despicable Associated Press, this example of "racial insensitivity" by Julie Myers has put her nomination in "trouble", even though she has apologized for not realizing that the costume might be regarded as "racially insenstive" (Was it? Or could it have been poking fun at the border patrol or the way we are putting too many blacks in prison, which is a point being alleged bly JOHN EDWARDS, and many African-American acitivists).
Who cares? It was HALLOWEEN. Julie Myers did not even wear the costume. I repeat: we HAVE become a nation of prigs.
Let us say that Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi wore a witch's costume to a Halloween Party (make up your own jokes here about witches, Nancy Pelosi, and/or Hillary Clinton--I REFUSE to go there).
Would that be a mortal INSULT to Christians. Remember, the Bible says that "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live", or something like that. There ARE Christian groups who condemn Halloween altogether on this basis, and things like the Harry Potter movies for "glorifying" witches. Those people are PRIGS. They are unable to separate fantasy from reality. That is also true of the people trying to "get" Julie Myers on this excuse, and the people who pay any attention to them.
You could come up with many other examples of Halloween costumes that MIGHT be regarded as offensive to SOME group. I repeat: It is HALLOWEEN (you prigs out there have to have things repeated at least 100 times). This woman did not even wear the costume, but merely found it "original" (award was for "most origianal coustume.").
Send in those videos to Harry Reid (who is pushing this particular example of priggish political opportunism), Nancy Pelosi, or the Democratic media (oops!! I meant: "mainstream media"--you might, of course, even take a page from Democrat activists and send embarrassing videos on DEMOCRATS to Fox News or the limited conservative media outlets).
You, too, may be able to HURT someone you don't like, and/or advance a political agenda, by taking advantage of the fact that we have become a nation of politically correct PRIGS.
