CNN R.I.P.
Almost no one is actually defending CNN for its disgraceful debate performance. If you have not heard, the FEATURED questioner (the gay retired general flown in to appear at the debate personally, who CNN allowed to confront the Republican candidates with a SPPECH), was a member of a HILLARY CLINTON campaign steering committee. This was something CNN could have found out by merely going to Google (numerous people on the web had no trouble figuring it out before the debate was even over).
This raises the burning question: Can the living dead die? CNN was already a dead network walking. But it is now clearly OVER. We have the movie example of vampires and zombies--the undead and the walking dead--which suggests that such creatures can be destroyed, if not actually "killed" (being already dead).
Even the rest of the media is not jumping to the defense of CNN (although some, like AOL, are trying to ignore the scandal, when it would be all over the "news" if it had been done TO H:illary Clinton or by Fox News against a Democrat).
What CNN has done is what Hillary Clinton has done to the Democrats on illegal immigration. CNN has made it OBVIOUS that the mainstream media (emperor) has no clothes--in orther words, made it obvious that the mainstream media is an arm of the Democratic Party. Even though the mainstream media has virtually given up the pretense of being unbiased, this kind of blatant confirmation of absolute bias makes them nervous. They, like CNN, are already losing audience AND respect. This CNN kind of thing only accelerates the process.
Thus, you had CNN choosing CONFRONTATIONAL questions from a supposed "Log Cabin Republican", who was actually an Obama supporter and activist; from a woman who, in her online profile, wears a John Edwards t-shirt; and from a fairly high up person in the United Steelworker's Union (a union which has endorsed Democrats). CNN did NOT use this kind of confrontational questioners in the Democratic YouTube debate. When you add the Clinton gay general, it all just becomes too much for even the rest of the biased media.
It gets worse (how could it, you ask; trust me on this). CNN issued a statement saying that the candidates were asked about "what America wanted to know", and that the criticism was only distracting from the substance of the debate.
What crap. For that "explanation" alone, CNN deserves to DISAPPEAR (and will). CNNN clearly asked what CNN WANTED TO KNOW. It was the agenda of CNN that drove the questions, and NOT what most people wanted to ask the candidates. The problem for CNN is that CNN made this so OBVIOUS.
So. CNN R.I.P. No thinking person should ever even look at CNN again, for any reason. I won't.
