As stated in the previous entry, John Murtha (the Democratic Congressman who FIRST demanded that we withdraw immediately from Iraq, and has continued to say the surge would not work) has now stated that the General Petraeus troop surge strategy has WORKED.

Nancy Pelosi is said to be furious.

Updated score:  The Maverick Conservative 1,000, 063  AP 0.  Yes, this again confirms that this blog was CORRECT in its Associated Press/AOL contrarian indicator.  The LESS we heard about successful terrorist attacks in Iraq (as the despicable AP and AOL acted as public relations agents fro the terrorists), the more obvious it was that the General Petraeus troop surge strategy has WORKED.

Where is the APOLOGY from Hillary Clinton (who virtually accused General Petraeus of being an incompetent liar, using MoveOn.org material).  Where is the PRAISE for General Petraeus from Democrats.  General Petraeus SAVED LIVES in Iraq--both American and Iraqi.

Does the despicable Associated Press--not to mention AOL--worry that it has completely MISSED the story of the SUCCESS of the troop surge in Iraq?  Do Democrats worry that they were WRONG about General Petraeus and the troop surge?
