Alexis Goggins
At a time when the media is giving a gunman in Omaha who WANTED FAME the very fame he wanted (with the usual wall-to-wall coverage looking for "answers"), a little seven year old girl deserves the fame. Following the example of the Paul Harvey radio program, I will not give the name of the Omaha gunman. I think that would be a really good, nationwide media policy--maybe give the name of the Omaha shooter ONCE, and his picture ONCE, andt then stop. Well, I can dream.
Alexis Goggins is a seven year old girl who lost most of the sight in one eye because of a stroke early in her life. Her mother took up with an ex-convict slimeball (women have no taste). The slimeball decided to shoot Alexis Goggins' mother.
The mother was shot twice. But Alexis Goggins jumped in between her mother and the gunman, who promptly shot the little girl SIX TIMES. The mother was not seriously injured. Amazingly enough, Alexis Goggins is recovering, although more seriously injured.
This happened in Detroit. I don't know, or care, whether Alexis Goggins is black. I sort of made that assumption, but I would rather not know than look for that information, as if it mattered.
I mention this because of what I have mentioned before in this blog. I think it is a bad MISTAKE for African-American "acitivists", or their leftist "allies", to make HEROES of thugs like the Jena 6, the Wilson boy in Georgia who taped oral sex with a 15 year old girl, or other black criminals. There have to be MANY black people worthy of being hailed as heroes and good examples, because of conduct like that of Alexis Goggins (whether she is black or not). It is time for African-American "activists" to start emphasizing the REAL heroes and heroines out there.
Alexis Goggins is a heroine. She deserves to be FAMOUS as a heroine for beyond the usual 15 minutes, and certainly beyond the time that the Omaha gunman is in the news.
Alexis Goggins deserves to be more famous than Drew Peterson, Paris Hilton, Scott Peterson, O.J.Simpson and all of the rest.

You forgot to note that her mother broke up with the ex-convict slimeball after three months, and that he was shooting at her because she dared to leave him. If you're going to tell stories about women, particularly black women, tell the whole danged story. I thought dishonesty wasn't supposed to be a "conservative" value, or is that what makes you a maverick?

i think this is the most saddest times of the year in the world that we live in,as it brings out the best and the worst of people..we as americans need to focus on taking care of our country and citizens first.......i urge everyone to please pass on kindness to your neighboor..
