"The United States and Saudi Arabia are the world's worst "climate sinners," environmental groups said Friday, citing their high and mounting greenhouse gas emissions and inadequate government policies to combat global warming."

The above is today's lead paragrap from a story from the despicable Associated Press/AOL (AOL slavishly features every leftist AP story, which is most of them).

First, note the word "sinner".  And some of you doubt that "global warming" is a RELIGION (you FOOLS you!!!!).  As this blog has shown repeatedly of course "global warming" is a religion/policial movement, rather than science.  Further, the goal of these people is to create a THEOCRACY.

Note also that all you have to do to generate national headlines is be an "einvironmental group" and issue a press release accusing the United States of not doing enough about "global warming"--that is, accusing the United States of not doing the LEFTIST, anti-capitalist things that the particular leftist group want done.

However, do you need any more evidence than the above paragraph to prove what I have been telling you?  One of the things this is about is ANTI-AMERICANISM.  One of the agendas behind "global warming" is the LEFTIST, anti-capitalist, agenda that the USA is TOO RICH, uses TOO MUCH of the world's resources, and is the major source of evil in the world.  The mainstream media is pretty much sympathetic to that view.  The leftist idea is that we should be GUILTY for our success, and essentially put on a hair shirt (whch is what most of these "global warming" fanatic advocated politices amount to).  REPENT.  That is the religious message the left has been trying to sent the United States forever.

What won't you learn from the above?  Aside from the fact that "global warming" alarmist, apocalyptic statements are totally false, you will not learn that what the United States does hardly matters.  This is RELIGION we are talking about.  These people do not care about reality (the great religions of the world actually have more pretense to reality than the religion of "global warming"--plus, at least they have the potential of giving spritual comfort instead of endless doom gloom, and lectures on  EVILS of the human race).

Socratic method.  How many people does China have?  How many people does India have?  WHERE is the population growing the most (especially by birth, instead of immigratiotion)?  Are not these people gonig to want to have a better standard of living?  Does that not involve MASSIVE increases in their emissions of greehhous gases?

The above questions answer themselves.  CHINA and INDIA are massively more important to the FUTURE of greenhouse gas emissions than the United States.  China is already passing the United States as the largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world.

Of course the U.S. uses much more than its SHARE of energy, and emits more greenhouse gases per capita.  That is because we are a PROSPEROUS free country (unless the radical environmentalists get their way).  It does not matter.  We could STOP increasing our use of greenhouse gases TODAY, and even reduce it (not per capita, but absolutely), and it would not matter.  Greenhouse gas emissions are going to go UP in the future almost the same--no matter what the U.S. does.  The U.N. has as much indicated that greenhouse gases are going to increase significantly, regardless of whether we try to take the measures now advocated by "global warming" priests.

Does it not matter what example we ste?  Nope.  The WORLD is not going to choose poverty over emitting greenhouse gases (neither is the United States, if the people realize what is happening, although something like that is the goal of "global warming" acitivists).  China has already said that it is not going to stop economic advancement to "stop" global warming,   What China says is that the "rich" nations of the world (that is, the USA) have the burden.  We could impoverish ourself, however, and it would not matter hardly at all to the eventual level of CO2 in the atmosphere.  So long as the people of China, and other places, want to "progress", greennouse gas emissions are going to rise.

Are we DOOMED.  As I have said before in this blog, we ARE doomed if the environmentalists are right about lthe ALARMIST parts of "global warming" gospel.  Therefore, you better HOPE that I am right when I say that the whole "global warming" "crisis" is totally overblown.  If it is a REAL crisis, we are NOT doing the right things (such as large MIRRORS in space, or on Earth, or simulations of volcanoes by throwing particles into the atmosphere, or other deliberate measures to COOL the Earh--measures that might work even if man, as is likely, has little to do with what warming is occurring). 

If I am WRONG about "global warming", then we are doomed.  Luckily for us all, I am almost never wrong.  I am not wrong this time--either about the "global warming" scare being overblown or about the leftist, anti-American political agenda of many of the "envirnonmentalists" pushing the religion of "global warming".
