Illegal Immigration Deception: The Deception Never Ends
There is NO issue (not even "global warming", although it is close) upon which the mainstream media, leftists, and other pro-illegal immigration people DECEIVE more than the issue of illegal immigration. There is no issue upon which the mainstream media pushes an agenda--pro-illeal immigration agenda--harder.
"Republicans Temper Anti-Immigration Talk".
That is today's Associated Press/AOL headline about the Republican debate Sunday night on Univision (Spanish language television network). The headline is a LIE.
Nope. This is NOT a matter of opinion. It is the despicable Associated Press in action. The headline is objectively a LIE. Republicans have NOT been engaging in "anti-immgirant" talk in the past. This is an AP/AOL/mainstream media LIE.
It is a LIE because there is a distinction between "immigrants" and "illegal immigrants." It is one of the continuing DECEPTIONS of the pro-illegal immigration people in thsi country that there is no difference between illegal immigrants and legal immigrants. This is a LIE. It is a "1984" (George Orwell's book) Big Lie. It is a LIE that the media, and pro-illegal immigration people, tell routinely, because they want to say the LIE so often that people believe it is the truth.
You will have to look long and hard to find ANY Republican out there who has criticized LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Republicans, despite the Big Lie implication in the AP/AOL story, did NOT do that in the recent CNN/YouTube debate. The issue is ALWAYS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, and has nothing at all to do with legal immigrants (except that leftists, including all of the Democratic Presidential candidates, do not really want there to be any illegal immigrants--in other words, they want "open borders" where essentially all immigrants are legal--one of the DECEPTIONS of this debate is the attempt to cover this up, as Hillary Clinton made obvious in trying to discuss Governor Spitzer's proposal to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants).
Do you doubt me when I describe the Associate Press atenda as I do above (you utter FOOL you!!!!--to doubt me)? You say: "It is just a headline; all headlines tend to be misleading." WRONG, bison breath. The headline, in this case, tells you exactly whaty the agenda is here. Consider this later paragraph from the story:
"Moreover, on the hot subject of immigration, Hispanic voters tend to have more sympathy for immigrants, legal or not, than many core Republican voters"
Isn't the above paragraph a MARVELOUS example of leftist propaganda? "....more sympathy for immigrants, LEGAL OR NOT.." Can an agenda get any more clear. Can a LIE get any more clear? What in the heck is "sympathy" for LEGAL immigrants? It is almost an oxymoron. Oh, I KNOW that the despicable AP is attempted to call "many core Republican voters" as "racist." That does not change the fact that the ISSUE is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, and not legal immigration.
Did Repubican candidates really "termper" their "talk" on ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION? If you read the story carefully, they did not. The Republican candidates, except McCain, ALL came out strongly against illegal immigration, despite the Spanish language audience. What the AP is referring to is that the Republicans evidently did not snipe AT EACH OTHER. In the CNN debate, Romney and Giuliani took shots at the record of each other (Romney citing Giuliani's record as mayor of New York of running a SANCTUARY CITY, while Giuliani attacked Romeny--in a ridiculous and irrelevant smear--for hiring a lanscaper who used illegal immmigrants). Both Romney and Giuliani were for STOPPING illegal immigration, and enforcing the immigration laws. Neither Romney nor Giuliani had any adverse "talk" about LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Dirty Little Secret: The despicable AP makes much of the changed "tone" of the debate, when the "tone" of the CNN debate had a lot to do with CNN. As set forth in earlier entries, the CNN debate was a DISGRACE, as CNN deliberately tried to create a low "tone" to the debate ("What would Jesus do"--GIVE ME A BREAK).
Q.E.D. The whole AP/AOL story is a BIG LIE, in aid of the continuing Big Lie on illegal immigration (that there is no distinction between legal and illegal immigration).
Even McCain is backing off of his amnesty stance--acknowledging that the public does not agree with him The difference remains between Democrat and Republican candidates for President:
ALL of the Republican candidates (except the hopeless McCain) support STRON enforcement of our immigration laws against ILLEGAL immigrants, and support securing our borders. NONE of the Democratic candidates support enforcement of our immigration laws, or effective measures to secure our borders. Sure, Democrats will try t DECEIVE on the issue, but basically they are for amnesty and NO effective border security. The AP article even tells you WHY Democrats have this position (see above quoted paragraph). Democrats know that Hispanics are the fastest growing voting group in this country. Democrats think Hispanics are a source of VOTES for them. Democrats are SURE that illegal immigrants represent future Democratic voters.
That is why voters should know what they are doing. Republicans have not been that good on illegal immigration. But at least they are saying the right things--painting themselves into a corner that any Republicans elected to the Presidency or Congress are going to HAVE to try to secure our borders. Democrats are TERRIBLE on the issue--much worse than the Republicans. They don't want to stop illegal immigration, because they think it means more Democratic voters. They want the amnesty that will only encourage further illegal immigration. A vote for a Democrat in 2008 is for OPEN BORDERS (no real enforcement of the immigration laws). Despite the DECEPTION, I can't believe that any voter can be misled on that. If you vote Democrat in 2008, you should not complain about our failure to stop illegal immmigration. You should KNOW that Democrats do not want to stop it. Republicans may or may not follow through on their promises, but they are at least COMMITTED. There is a CHANCE. There is NO CHANCE with Demorats in control.
P.S. The despicable Associated Press. Again and again in this blog I have exposed the Associated Press for the despicable "news" organization that it is. As I have repeatedly SHOWN (citing chapter and verse, as in the above entry), the Associated Press is the worst "news" organization IN THE UNIVERSE--including known and unknown planets. Since AOL pushes all of the worst AP stuff, that puts AOL in the same category. Am I getting through to people? Maybe. A friend of mine cited me to michellemalkin.com about the AP photographer accused of being a TERRORIST. My friend did this because he has read my entries on the despicable AP. Are people beginning to realize just how bad the AP is? I think so. The mainstream news media in general is in a death spiral. The New York Times is laying off people. So is AOL. Viewership and circulation, for the mainstream media, is disappearing. Sure, the internet is a partial explanation, but the lack of TRUST is mor important. People know that they can't trust the mainstream media to give them "news" without an agenda. So why pay any attention, when there are so many other sources of information--even biased sources where the bias is at least ACKNOWLEDGED. The above cited story is simply another example of why you should ignore the mainstream news media. They LIE. I am serious. It is not just that they are incompetent (although they are that too). They deliberately LIE. I quit pulling punches a long time ago. When they LIE, this blog tells you so. It is no use trying to soften this stuff. The lies are too blatant and universal. The mainstream media must be called on them, and I will continue to do so.
