Huckabee and Homosexuality
If you EVER paid any attention to the despicable Associated Press, read the previous two entries (or the previous TWO YEARS of examples in this blog).
As I said, the AP basically did a "negative ad" article on Huckabee. The AP admits that Huckabee, in these 1992 (15 years ago) that Huckabee is not really saying different things today. But the dspicable AP says his statements had a "harder edge" in 1992 (at age 36). Can anything make it more clear that the AP is merely running a NEGATIVE AD, trying to highlight statements that may SOUND harsher in a Presidential campaign than they did in 1992 (not to mention that MOST men MATURE in 15 years, and are not quite so "hard edged" in their opinions).
This is all a prelude to Huckabee's 1992 views on homosexuality (not much different than his present views, but presented in "harsher" language):
"Asked about gays in the military, for example, he didn't just reject the idea but added: "I believe to try to legitimize that which is inherently illegitimate would be a disgraceful act of government. I feel homosexuality is an aberrant, unnatural and sinful lifestyle, and we now know it can pose a dangerous public health risk."
Now, is there anything really wrong with the above statement, unless you are a homosexual "rights" activist wanting society to APPROVE homosexual behavior as just as valid as heterosexual behavior (where Huckabee prefers sex be in marriage, as well--which, as this blog has proven, is HEALTHIER).
Was homosexual conduct a public health risk in 1992? Of course it was. Now Huckabee MAY have meant only that it was unclear then how AIDS was spread at that point (as it was, since no one would really INVESTIGATE and PUBLICIZE the subject thoroughly, since it is PRIMARILY spread in the United States by homosexual sex). Huckabee, for example, is quoted then as favoring isolation of AIDS patients. That reflects an uncertainty about the possible ways AIDS might be transmitted.
However, Huckabee was RIGHT. As this blog has stated, LEFTISTS HAVE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS. AIDS has NEVER been treated as a helath EPIDEMIC. WHERE wer the campaigns to STOP the unhealthy conduct (homosexual sex, or at least unprotected homosexual sex--with heterosexual, promiscuous sex being another type of dangerous conduct). WHERE were the AGGRESSIVE searches for CARRIERS of HIV (a type of "quarantine" would certainly have been indicated, where HIV carriers were LIMITED in the way they could have sex).
Since this is about SEX (AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease, and PRIMARILY transmitted in the U.S. by HOMOSEXUAL SEX), it has not been treated as a "regular" disease like smallpox. WHY did we see little PUBLICITY about how AIDS was transmitted (other than to try to debunk the idea that it was easily spread)? It was because leftists/homosexual "activists" wanted to CONCEAL the way this disease spread--to shove it under the rug. Homosexual, and promiscuous, sex IS hazardous to your health. Leftists, homosexuals, AND the media did NOT want to FACE this issue--much like the VICTORIANS did not want to consider sex at all. That is why they have BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS.
It says little about Huckabee, and a LOT about the despicable AP, that the AP went back FIFTEEN years to try to come up with a "negative ad" against Huckabee. However, this DOES say a LOT about the FAILURE of our efforts against the AIDS EPIDEMIC. This was 1992. That was FIFTEEN YEARS ago. The AIDS epidemic is STILL in full flower--killing MILLIONS of people worldwide (and still killing in the U.S.). Would we have accepted that with smallpox? The media tried to PANIC us with the idea of a terrorist started smallpox outbreak, which MIGHT have killed a few thousand people. Tnes of thousands--even hundreds of thousands--of people have DIED from AIDS in this country. WHERE was the URGENCY to STOP the EPIDEMIC? There was none, because it is about SEX (and especially homosexual sex).
No, it did NOT require a CURE, or vaccine, to STOP the spread of AIDS. It is a CONDUCT DRIVEN disease. It is a disgrace that the disease is still an epidemic 15 yeas later. Huckabee was RIGHT (whether he now knows it or not). AIDS WAS, and is, a "public health problem", and homosexual sex was--and is--a public health problem.
I repeat what I have said repeatedly in this blog (supported fully by all statistics): "Sex (of the promiscuous, non-marital kind) is hazardous to your health". Huckabee seems to appreciate this more than the other candidates, both with regard to homosexual sex and with regard to heterosexual sex. That is a point in his FAVOR (as the AP attempts to make him look GOOD).
Huckabee, like the other Republicans, has his flaws (even though, as a field, the Republicans are MUCH more talented and diverse than the Democrats). That is why I am still undecided among Huckabee, Thompson, and Romney. However, as stated in the previous entries, we KNOW one thing: The Associated Press is despicable (my own, mainstream media style, "negative ad", but solidly based in fact).
