Associated Press and AOL STILL Press Agents for Al-Qaida
"The top U.S. commander in northern Iraq warned Wednesday that al-Qaida in Iraq was still capable of staging spectacular attacks despite a 50 percent drop in bombings and other violence in his region."
While other "news" agencies are reporting the SUCCESS of the General Petraeus agency in Iraq (reluctantly for mainstream media outlets other than Fox News), the despicable Associated Press finds the real "news" to be that we have not yet defeated al-Qaida totally. In fact, another featured AOL story right now is the BRREATHLESS "news" that the al-Qaida's no. 2 may grant an INTERVIEW (he knows who his press agents are).
This is the AP headline on the story from which the above first paragraph is quoted: "Commander: Al Qaida Still Able to Attack". There is, of course, no clue in the headline that the main POINT of what the "commander" said is our SUCCESS in Iraq.
Did you EVER have any doubt that the despicable AP (and AOL) were press agents for al-Qaida (the AP photographer suspected of being a TERRORIST was found to be acting suspiciously when he was MORE pro-American than would be expected of an AP employee in Iraq)?
This should end any remaining doubt. The AP HEADLINE is the "news" that al-Qaida is still capable of attacks (something the AP clearly wants to be true), rahter than the SUCCESS we have recently had in Iraq. Typical for the despicable AP, and for AOL.
P.S. The above entry seemed important for me to get posted today to avoid the idea that the ONLY EVIL of the mainstream media today is "back fence gossip". (see entries over the past 3 days). I did not want to leave the impression that the mainstream media had abandoned its pro-terrorist, anti-American reporting.
