Associated Press and AOL (Evil Media Series Continued)
"Pfc. Jason Scheuerman nailed a suicide note to his barracks closet in Iraq, stepped inside and shot himself."
The above is how the dspicalbe Associated Press beigins today's AOL featured story on Iraq (at the same time the despicable AP and AOL are IGNORING good news out of Iraq). The story goes on to attack the U.S. military for failing to get the soldier our of Iraq--USING the family as a surrogate to advance the AP/AOL POLITICAL agenda. For them, it is NOT about this individual soldier, but discrediting the entire U.S. military and the entire War in Iraq.
Remember when General Patton slapped a soldier suffering combat shock in a hospital in Europe? Did that say ANYTHING about whether World War II was a good war; about whether the U.S. Army is a good organization; or even about whether Patton was a good general? Nope. It did not.
The point is that this is more anti-American military PROPAGANDA by the despicable Associated Press (and the equally despicable AOL).
Now is there anything wrong with publicizing bad judgment of the Army regarding one soldier? Of course not, as the Patton incident was publicized. But this soldier is being USED by the truly DESPICABLE AP to advance its agenda. If we had stories of HEROIC soldiers in Iraq; if Gneral Petraeus were being (rightly) hailed as PERSON OF THE YEAR for his SUCCESS in Iraq; it the DESPICABLE AP were putting out ANY number of positive stoires from Iraq (where the news is generally positive); then I would not mind this story.
As it is, the AP and AOL are DESPICABLE distributors of anit-military propaganda.
