A cruise ship just hit a GLACIER off Anarctica (no one could make this stuff up).  Then there was this idiotic comment on AOL, and my reply:

"WHEN THE ARCTIC MELTS IN THE SUMMER, WILL YOU DENILISTS CALL THAT "NATURAL"?????????????"

It IS "the summer" for the Southen Hemisphere.

Another ("global warming") religious belief SHATTERED.  I thought all of the glaciers in Anarctica had already melted.   It was almost as traumatic for me as discovering that George Burns was not really God.

Next, I will learn that there is NO warming trend evident for the U.S. since 1880 (see chart in Michael Crichton's "State of Fear"--confirmed again this last year).   Or I will learn that fully HALF of the earth's warming was because of where the temperature guages were set (recent scientific finding)--NOT REAL.   Oops!!!.  I forgot.  I aready learned those things, but they were so traumatic I have been in religious DENIAL!!

P.S.:  The recent sceintific report by Michaels and McKittrick, which found that HALF of "global warmng" is NOT REAL, but the result of changes in MEASURING (where teperature gauges are placed, etc.) was BURIED by the mainstream media.  In other words, it was not reported. See the "Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate" award in the next entry.  This attemt to DENY debate on real scientific issues, and to constantly SHIFT the debate when forced to confront an "inconvenient truth", is more than enough reason that the entire "global waarming" community, including the mainstream media, DESERVE the "flying, fickle finger of fate" award for this week.  However, there is no doubt that the San Francisco Chronicle also had EARNED the award.  Hence the TIE for the coveted award reflected in the next entry.
