Homeland Secuirty has finally proposed requirements for driver's licenses and eventual "tamper proof" ID.  Even though such an ID was part of the Kennedy-McCain "comprehensive" immigration plan, the leftist ACLU is already planning to SUE (along with some of the 17 states that don't like the proposed requirements).   The ACLU, joined by the AFL-CIO (in a BETRAYAL of American workes), recently stopped regulations that would have STOPPED the use of fradument social secruity numbers to get and keep employment (they sued before a Clinton appointed, San Francisco judge and got an order stopping letters to employers, just as the letters were ready to go out--as the Bush Administration belatedly decided to take an EFFECTIVE measure to enhance border, and internal, security).

"In its written objection to the law, the ACLU claims REAL ID amounts to the "first-ever national identity card system," which "would irreparably damage the fabric of American life."

Are leftists (Ted Kennedy, and "open borders" Democrats in Congress, for example) serious about "tamper proof" IDs, no driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, or even about stopping illegal immigration?

Read the above carefully and you will realize, as you should already have realized, that leftists (the type that support the ACLU) have NO INTENTION of stopping ilegal immigration OR of "securing our borders" against terrorists.  They will SAY what they think they have to say.  They don't BELIEVE it, or intend it to take place (Illegal Immigration Deception--as I have pointed out repeatedly in this blog).

If we elect ANY Democrat President, or John McCain, we deserve what we get.
