Flying Fickle Finger of Fate To: Rocky Mountain News, Associated Press, and AOL
Yes, it is time to award the coveted, weekly "Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate" (an award I have picked up from Rowan and Martin's "Laugh In").
WINNERS: Rocky Mountan News, the despicable Associated Press, and the equally despicable AOL.
The award winning story was today's agenda driven story about a Colorado state representative who "kicked" a Roocky Mountain News photographer--which the despicable AP and AOL made national "news" under this truly disgraceful headline: "Lawmaker Kicks Photographer during Prayer." More accurate headline (if you did not have a mainstream media agenda): "Photographer Disrputs Prayer, Lawmaker Offended". The photographer took a photo (apparently virually in the representative's face) as the state representative was praying (part of a "state house prayer" in the house chamber). The photographer was evidently not injured in this nothing incident, which the WINNERS have tried to make into national "news" advancing their agenda.
How do we KNOW that this is another "story with an agenda" from the truly despicable Associated Press (and the equally despicable AOL News)?
Well, it is NOT national "news". Who cares about the details of an obascure Colarado sstate legislator's tiff with a photographer? Well, we KNOW who cares. It is the SELF-INTEREST of the "journalism" profession that makes this kind of a story national "news".
But that is not all. Most of this story is a SMEAR of the state representattive for allegedly using a loophole in the term limit law to make himself eligible for 8 total years instead of six (as if DEMOCRATS never did games like this, such as New Jersey Democrats replacing a LOSING Senate candidate after the deadline--remember "The Torch"?).
Nope. This story is nothing but agenda, whether the state representative was an ass or not (I ingore sluch IRRELVVANT things when I see ths kind of agenda story).
In fact, one of the amazing number of mainstream media agendas incoporated in this one story is the anti-Christian agenda (in addition to the obvious anti-Republican agenda and the "journalists can do anything, no matter how rude" agenda). Disrupting a prayer is not an issue for real "journalists".
What if this was a Muflim prayer, where it was (whether it really was or not, this would be claimed) a mortal insult to take a picture of Muslims prarying?
Oh, I forgot. In addition to usually being sanctimonious, lying hypocrites, "journalists" are also COWARDS!
You doubt me on this (you fool you!). Consider the reaction of American "journalists" to those Danish cartoons that caused Muslim violence. "Freedom of the press" suddenly did not matter. Suddenly, it was NECESSARY not to "offend" Muslims by printing the cartoons. The Bostton Phoenix ADMITTED that this was COWARDICE (as it clearly was). But "journalists" do not FEAR offending Christians (and, indeed, go out of their way to do so).
Ceremony: (Here you need to use your imagination to see the statuette of an INDEX finger being presented to the worthy winners): This award is for YOU; you deservie it.
