Henry Waxman and the Associated Press
Is the Associated Press--not to mention AOL-- a public relations/propaganda agent for Henry Waxman and the Democratic Party? Of course it is. If you have any doubt, consider this AP story (only part of first paragraph quoted):
"The chairman of a House committee said a White House spokesman's statements Thursday in the controversy over missing e-mail conflict with what congressional staffers were told four months ago..."
Note the reference to "controversy". It is, of course, only a "controversy for Democrats and their sycophants in the media. No one else cares. Note the lack of IDENTIFYING Henry Waxman as the DEMOCRAT who PROMISED to "investigate" EVERYTHING the bush Administration did, and is following through on that proise. Rather than a partisan Democrat, Waxman is merely identified as chairman of a Congressional committee. Note that the "conflict" is NOT CLEAR (if you can read the WHOLE story, and figure out what the "conflict" is, and why it is important, you are a better person than I). This whole matter of the "missing emails" is so arcane (it goes back to that manufactured "controversy" over the firing of some U.S. attorneys, which was ALWAYS merely a political matter Demorats have tried to turn into something criminal any way they can--hence the further manufactured "controversy" over missing emails).
Has anyone asked Barack Obama what he thinks aoubt this blatant partisanship over minor stuff, and this continued effort by Waxman to "divide us"? Don't you think someone should ask Obama what he thinks of this continuous "investigating' for political purposes?
Notice how Henry Waxman has AUTOMATIC access to the despicable Assoicated Press for anything he wants to say. The despicable AP dutifully turns ANYTHING he says into national "news", even though it is unimportant.
You may not remember REPUBLICAN House committee chairman being treated with this kind of respect, and attention to their every word, when Republicans controlled the House. That is because it did not happen (the same AP coverage and quoting of every utterance/press release).
