"Global warming" is the only scientific theory (I have a B.S. in Physics) that I know of where FACC TS are UNIMPORTANT.  Okay, we know that is true of today's mainstream media on EVERYITHING, but somehow "global warming" adherents have sold the idea that it does not matter if "global warming" theory actually PREDICTS anything accurately.  The idea is that "global warming" is an established TRUTH, and therefore factual events do not affect that truth.  As I have stated, that is characteristic of a RELIGION (except "real" major religions have a better overall value system that might actually be of value to at least some people).

Look at this last week.  We have had snow and ice in ATATLANTA.  Virtually the whole country is now in a DEEP FREEZE.  Yes, this is WEATHER, and short term weather means little on CLIMATE.  However, "global warming" PROPAGANDA has been ALL about short term events.

For example, despite recent warm years, the warmest year in the United STates since 1880 remains 1936, in a virtual tie with 2006.  As Michael Crichton stated in "State of Fear", with a CHART and bibliography, there is NO trend in U.S. temperatures since 1880.  Temperatures GO UP AND DOWN, with no discernible TREND.  When pressed, "global warming PRIESTS dismiss the U.S. as being merely 2% of the Earth's surface, but "global warming" theory (more a vague concept than a comprehensive theory WITH PREDICTIONS) fails to explain why an area as large as the U.S. would NOT have a warming TREND, if this is a true world phoenomenon. 

Further, the world has STOPPED warming.  For the last six years, the temperature of the Earth (as measured by satellite) has been essentially CONSTANT.  The warmest year, in fact, appears to be 1998.

There is just NO EVIDENCE that "global warming" is a big problem.  Yet, it is as if these facts are not happening.  Every warm spell (like the recent one in Januray) is HYPED as PROOF of "global warming" (which they are NOT).  Every unusual weather event is ASSUMED to be the result of "global warming", with NO scientific basis.

As I have said, this is RELIGION   It has no pretense of being SCIENCE.  The way "science" is supposed to work is that you TEST a theory by PREDICTION, and then ALTER the theory if it is unable to predict accurately. 

Good luch on having science act that way with "global warmng." 

Dirty little secret:  Even if "scientists started to apply science to "global warming", as many are beginning to do, the POLITICAL and media adherents of "global warming" will not listen.  For them, it is about TRUTH (in an absoluted sense), and NOT about "science".  That is why Al Gore called it a "moral and SPIRITUAL" issue.

Meanwhile, 2007 AGAIN established that there is NO established TREND of U.S. temperatures.  It was an AVERAGE year--even a little cool for most of it.  2008 is starting off the same way (NO warming TREND).  Doesn't matter to priests of "global warming".  They simply act like the actual events are not happening (Remember all of those HURRICANES that were supposed to occur in ever increasing numbers?).
