Today's headline:  "Arctic Chill Stretches Coast to Coast."  If you read the present AOL featured story, you see National Weather Service comments to the effect that it is hard to find ANYWHERE in the United States where it is not COLD (or at least cooler than normal).

This weekend's NFL game in Green Bay was the thrid COLDEST NFL game EVER played.

There continues to be NO warming trend in the U.S.A. since 1880 (warm spells/years and cooler ones, but NO consistent trend).  Michael Crichton produced the CHART, for U.S. temperatures since 1880,  in his eco-thriller (with footnotes and a bibliography),  "State of Fear."  2006, for example, was a warm year.  2007--maitaining the trend of NO TREND, was an average to COOL year.  Early January had a warm spell, but now we are in the DEEP FREEZE.  1936 remains the WARMEST year since 1880, although in a vitual tie with 2006 (no trend). 

As Michael Cricton also says in his book, world temperature data is somewhat unreliable (which a scietific sstudy has shown, indicating that "global warming" has been HALF of what it was reported to be).  Nevertheless, world temperatures were going up MUCH more steadily than the U.S. since 1970.   However, that has STABILIZED.  For the last six years, the (average) "temperature" of the Earth has been pretty much STABLE (not increasing at all).  In fact, satellite measurements would indicate that 1998 is the warmest year.

 Who is in DENIAL here.  It is NOT "global warming" skeptics.  It is simply proven every day that "global warming" is (an especially useless and dangerous) RELIGION, having nothing to do with science.

There are the apocalyptic warnings typical of a CULT (which are simply brushed aside for new ones when they do not look like they are happeniing).  For example, there was that stuff about Antarctica.  You don't hear much about it now, because it has become clear that Antarctica is NOT melting. 

Now the "buzz" apocalyptic "warming" is that the NORTHERN ice cap will completely melt in 5 to 7 years (if FROZE this winter QUICKER than normal--referring to refreezing of ice that ALWAYS melts in the arctic summer).  Problem:  if true, there is NOTHING we could do about it.  In other words, as is typical of the apocalyptic visions of CULTS, "global warming" priests (like Al Gore) have proposedNOTHING that will even slow down "global warming" in the next 5 to 7 years.   We might as well live it up, and actually HEAT our homes so that we are warm, because we are DOOMED anyway.

Clearest evidence that "global warming" is all about PROPAGANDA:  Where are the QUESTIONS to "global warming" people about COOL winters and COOL years--not to mention ARCTIC COLD WAVES?  In other words, do you see "global warming" adherents even ASKED why U.S. average temperatures show NO warming trend, and why world temperatures have STOPPED showing a warming trend, if "global warming" is an established FACT?  Of course you don't see that. 

Q.E.D.  This is about POLITICS as a kind of RELIGION, and not about science at all.   EVERY "heat wave" is "evidence" of "global warming", while EVERY cold wave is jsut WEATHER.

My advice to "global warming" cultists:  Watch out on that mountaintop; it may get COLD up there.
