Note that this blog had a SCOOP by the FIRST projection of Hillary Clinton's victory in West Virginia, based on the exclusive sources of information available to this blog (lol:  see yesterday's entry).   

Note the play in a lot of the media (the despicable Associated Press called it merely a "symbolic" victory for Hillary Clinton), on the basis that this was an "expected" victory for Hillaray Clinton--espciially given the "demographics" of West Virginia.  To me, that is FUNNY.  What does it say abut Barack Obama that losing by more than FORTY PERCENT was EXPECTED?  What does it say about Barack Obama that he loses this BADLY in a state with these "demographics", even with the media saying he has WON the onimiation already?   What would the media have said if John McCain had LOST a state by FORTY PERCENT after he had the nomination all wrapped up?  We KNOW tha answer to that last one, because some of the media has made a big point of McCain losing 25% of the vote in some of these primaries after clinching the nomination. 

Nope.  West Virginia virtually proves that Barack Obama cannot be elected President of the Untied States (except he is running against John McCain).  Of course, John McCain cannot be elected President of the United States, either (except he is running against Barack Obama).   It is sort of like an irresistible force meeting an immovable object--IN REVERSE. 

Hillary Clinton won by an incredible 150,000 votes (or so) in West Virginia--with as big a percentage in this "demographic" as she got in ARKANSAS (which, after all, has a significant African-American population).  

Can the Democrats put up a weaker candidate than Barack Obama?  NO, NO, and NO.

Yet, the media is continuing to pursue the story line that Barack Obama has WON the nomination.  See the next entry as to why that is a LIE, although maybe a self-fulfilling prophecy.
