Monday Night Showdown
This is Peytons Year

This morning marks the first day of practice for the Colts prior to their trip to Foxboro. They have taken a few days off to rest, and rest they did.
The bye week came at a good time. Bob Sanders has been nursing an arm injury since the St. Louis game and the stars of the defense Reagor, Freeney, Tripplet, and Cato June all have been playing through injuries the past 2 games.
So this is as healthy as they can expect to be now 7 weeks in, and going up against New England this coming Monday night in the First Monday night game at Gillete Stadium, this is the best time to come off a bit of downtime.
Tomorrow the Colts will start concentrating on the Monday night showdown. Statistically, it does not look good for the Colts. That is if you only really look at the stats from the past. The patriots have been victorious the past 2 seasons in playoff victories, 2004 AFC champioship, and the 2003 AFC Divisional Playoffs. Both games brought bad weather to foxboro, both were won by 10 or more points.
So What.

Proceed with brief trash talking
Bill Belichick is going to wish that he never left the 1975 coaching staff of the Baltimore Colts after Monday night, Teddy Bruschi is going to wish that he stayed in bed the rest of the season, and Tom Brady is going to feel like a NY Yankee come the end of regulation Monday night as this is the end of a Dynasty. Dont get me wrong, it was a good run, but it is time to sitback and regroup.

I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU, REMEMBER GOD LOVES DUMB PEOPLE.

I can't wait to read your blog next week after Belly and Brady turn the Colts into the most distraught 7-1 team in NFL history.
Best,
Jamie
