Trying Times
Petra Haden - "Yellow" Coldplay Cover
These are trying times for Tony Dungy and his family, and my sympathies and prayers go out to them.
Today is a day where the Colts meet a team that can clinch home field advantage in the NFC with a win. Seattle has a vision, and Indy plays with heavy heavy hearts today. The Colts are also showing up to the Land of the Latte minus 5 starters, Cato June, Marvin Harrison, Corey Simon, Robert Mathis, and Ryan Diem. This hardly matters now.
Edge will take 15 balls up the field at most today, Peyton will maybe play a quater, and we will rely on Jim Sorgi to take us down the field and make it a match. Let it be known that I think it this is entirely possible.

When a death occurs in one's family football or any sport becomes meaningless. But it also shows that life is short and one needs to be ready for any possibility by being sure Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Can a person who comments suicide go to heaven? YES!! Jesus took ALL our sins on Himself on the cross, no sin is to bad that Jesus won't forgive it. My prayers go out to your family and the team. What needs to happen now is for everybody to suck it up and go on to win the Super Bowl.

The game of fottball is just that, a game. Sometimes with all the hype we lose pespective on things. Sure, lives are changed for coaches and players who are dependent upon performaning. I believe with a personal loss such as the one that has happened to the Dungy family, it is important for friends and fans to put things in proper perspective. Speculating on the effect of such a loss on a teams performance is somewhat insensitive. Focus needs to be on giving support to the Dungys and their extended families. I pray that the media and fan focus remains compasionate, and directed more towards the best interest of all parties involved.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Dungys

My Christmas was a little less joyus this year thinking of Tony's loss. My family lost my dad in 1985 around the Christmas Holidays and it is still atough time of year for me. I pray that the Dungy's will rebound quickly because life goes on even though it seems it shouldn't it does. Tony when I lived in Tampa we loved you and Tampa and all the ones that cheered you then still love you . God will take care of your son till you get there and then he will take care of you and yours. Rest in Peace James many days I watched you walk the sidelines in Tampa.
May God be with us all in these trying times.

I was close to my grandmother, and the day she died I was devastated. My dad said she would have wanted me to play in the footlball game that day....I had my doubts, but got on the bus and started the game anyway. I scored two touchdowns, one on offense, one on defense, and we won the game. It was the first loss of a family member I'd had at that point. My heart goes out to Dungy. But his son would have wanted his Dad to bring home the Ring. God Bless the Dungys. My heart goes out to the whole family. Now bring home that Ring.

Remembering how Tony Dungy was as a Coach AND AN ALL AROUND PERSON during his time here in Tampa, I am sure that he and his family will survive. In closing, I have just one other comment I would like to make......................
"TO THE DUNGY FAMILY..............TAMPA BAY IS WITH YOU 100%"
