Every Word!
Before I got out of bed this morning, The Words of Matthew 4:4 and Deuteronomy 8: 1-3 was running through my mind. Every Word that comes forth from The Mouth of God is man to be upheld by. They were loud and kept going. This is a COMMAND from Almighty God himself. Not to be taken lightly! Day and night are we to study and eat His Word!
The passed 3 years I have preached and preached on His Words and the important's of obeying them. You either have a hunger for them or you don't. You are either in love with Jesus or you aren't. One needs to be very honest and asses where you are in your stance for Christ. I am not judging you as to where you are. I just want everyone to be truly honest with themselves so as not to deceive themselves. One can't fix what he doesn't acknowledge.
The Words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life, John 6:63. Then in verse 53, He says Except you eat the flesh of The Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.
We must die to ourselves and feed on His Words if we are ever going to go The Way of The Cross. Tis the only Way, The Way of The Cross. All of John's Gospel is wonderfilled. So simple a little child can understand it. That's one of the beauties of The Bible!
I have always found it interesting that in John 6:66 many of His disciples deserted Him, this number 666 symbolizing the falling away of Christians and the worshiping of evil, and satan.
So friend, where are you?
