Homemade  Peach Pie!

2 1/2 cups water

2 cups white sugar

5 taplespoons cornstarch

1 ~~~~ 3oz. package Peach  jello

8 cups of  Pealed , sliced ,Ripe  but firm peaches.

2 (9inch) pie shells baked

 

bake pie shells as directed

In a saucepan, combine water sugar and cornstarch, ( helps if you mix cornstarch and sugar first then add water.)  cook over medium heat, stirring constantly , untill  mixture boils and thickens.  Remove from Heat and stir in  the Peach jello. Allow to cool slightly

Arrange Peaches in the pie crust .  Pour the jello mixture over covering the peaches. 

Place in Fridg, for about a hour and half, or untill set. 

Top with    Redi whip or cool whip

Feeling Mellow

Ingredients 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1 cup and 2 tbs of  white sugar

3/4 teaspoons salt

1 Table spoon of baking powder

1/2 cup of vegetable oil

2 teaspoons of  almond extract or imitation flavoring ( you and use vanilla but the almond goes better with the lemon topping

2 eggs

1/2 cup of milk

2 cups of  Fresh blueberries

Toping

3/4 cups of white sugar

1/2 cup all purpose flour

/4 cup of  butter cubed

2 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 table spoon graded lemon peal ( find in the spice isle )

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. line muffin tin with cup cake liners /muffin liners

combine flour, sugar, salt. and baking powder. mix up.

now add the oil and eggs and milk, almond extract. mix in with dry ingredients

Fill muffin cups right to the  top. sprinkle with crumb topping  Bake for 25-30 minutes or until  tooth pick comes out clean

 

to make crumb topping

Mix to gather the  flour and sugar, butter and cinnamon , till crumbly  and lemon peal
