I'm NOT Doing Well Today....
Hello dear world
How are you this evening ?? I hope you all got to enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. I on the other hand am suffering at the moment and yes I'm complaing more like whining for which I apologize.
Anywho...the other day as I was getting into the car to go to Walmart I didn't report what happened but now I will. As I was getting into the car I felt my foot was stinging and suddenly I looked down and noticed that an ant was on my foot and yes it bit my middle toe and now half of my right foot is swollen and yes tight. I soaked my foot quite a few times tonight and still its tight and swollen. I almost wish I could cut off my toe and not feel the tightness. I will be taking a benadryl before I go to bed tonight and see if that helps.
My family and I did have a barbeque outside and yes I have been limping around quite a bit. I know that its Memorial Day and that our troops in Iraq are probably not sitting around complaining as I am but I feel a little down in the dumps with my foot and all.
I am sorry for sounding so depressing this evening but I am NOT doing well today. Hopefully the benadryl will help me feel a little bit better.
I do want to wish you all a "HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY" where ever you may be. I would also like to wish the troops and their families and their loved ones a "HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY" as well.
Good-night dear world

Monae', I was bit on my leg and ankle by about twenty fire ants in South Carolina a coulpe of years age. They really hurt. Luckily I had a hose at hand and washed them off quickly. We always use baking soda with a little water to make a paste to smear on any insect bites we get. It seems to work for us. Hope it feels better today, Bill

Next time you get bit or stung by anything as soon as you can make a paste of meat tenderizer and a little water an apply to as as best you can. Keep adding to it as it dries. It is going to be really grainy. That will keep the swelling and hurting down. Works wonders. I sue this all the time. Hope your foot feels better soon. Hugs, helen
