Coming Attractions!!!

Take a look at the newest sporting venues

              The Charlotte Center

CHARLOTTE ARENA:  Charlotte Bobcats [NBA]  Funny that Charlotteans wouldn't hook up an arena for modest millionaires Shinn and Woolridge...but when billionaire Robert Johnson comes to town...everyone is scrambling for shovels.  The arena is nearly done...and will join Bank Of America Stadium [and nearby building] as the crown jewel of the new Charlotte skyline.

Inside the new Busch Stadium

NEW BUSCH STADIUM:  St. Louis Cardinals [MLB]  What a lovely park!!  The open outfield lends itself to a perfect view of the Arch.  A perfect stadium for such a great baseball town!

ARIZONA STADIUM:  Arizona Cardinals [NFL]  St. Louis doesn't have the only Cardinals flying the coup.  This new state-of-the-art stadium [aren't they all?] will be a major player in Super Bowl battles...even if their team isn't.

Model of the proposed Athletics ballpark

PROPOSED OAKLAND BALLPARK:  Oakland Athletics [MLB]  Thank God someone is thinking of putting that concrete pit [the house that Al Davis ruined] out of its misery.

Aerial view of proposed Twins ballpark

PROPOSED TWINS STADIUM:  Minnesota Twins [MLB].  This is the ultimate "pitching in".  The Twins and Hennepin County to share the cost to build the stadium...with the state covering the tab for the retractable roof.

Remember...George Shinn didn't write "I Can't Quit You" or "Crossroads."
