JJ Redick gets arrested for DWI in North Carolina in the morning.  In the afternoon, he's cancelling workouts.

Not because of a DWI....because of a bad back.  Redick failed a physical at the NBA pre-draft camp in Orlando.  His back could be bad enough to require surgery and there are rumors that he may be out for four months.

Not good to begin your NBA career with back issues.  Especially when shooting jumpers is your only meal ticket right now.

Sorry if I don't act a bit concerned here.  There is no better time to be a Tar Heel right now.  You had Mr. Redick go thru his NCAA career with no title and huge flame outs in the dance.  Meanwhile, Carolina wins a title in 2005 and will be one of the top 2 teams in the nation this fall.  Also, the Heels will be in the College World Series, have a decent football team [which travels to Notre Dame] and had the #1 women's hoops team during the season [well, Dook's team was good too]. 

And Duke has this....and some issue with their lacrosse team.
