Hi all my journal land Friends. I'm sorry it has been awhile since I have posted an entry. My world has been kind of busy lately. It has been pleasently busy for the most part but, kind of hectic at the same time to if you know what I mean. I'm sure you can all relate to this in one way or another.

Brom & I will be doing a demonstration tomorrow, about 3hrs away from where we live. It is a fund raiser for the agency I got him from. This should be alot of fun for us. I think he will do wonderful. he has matured so much over the last several months. But, at the same time, I worry that Brom will decide to have one of those days of all days when he doesn't want to work or cooperate. LOL just like kids. I will be sure to let you know how it all goes probably early next week. So, Please keep us in your prayers that all goes well.

Also, Brom seems to be falling into much better what his duties are with me and how to help me. I think several factors come to play in this. 1. They say it takes anywhere from one to two years of your dog being with you to really be in tune to you. You basically need to train them again to do things the way you do. 2. age the more they mature the better they are. 3. The amount you work with them. 4. I think getting his medical problems under control hass helped alot to. I think he was so miserable before because, he itched so much and things. Now they seem to be getting this under control slowly but surely and, things seem alot better. So, PLEASE keep praying for us. Those of you who have e-mailed me or, replied to my journal, i'm very sorry I haven't replied yet. Like I said things have been busy. I will truely try to reply early next week if not sooner. Hope everyone is doing well.

Leslie & Brom

I need you all to give me some encouragement. Brom has been acting somewhat strange for the last 2 days. Not sure why. Anytime, just the slightest thing seems out of place with him I get worried. i know that I should not do that. It's just instinct to be that way I guess. I haven't been able to sleep right for months. Not sure why but, I need to do better at this just not sure how too I guess. I will be moving soon, haven't found a place yet. Hopefully soon. I think also, I always harbour in the back of my mind that Brom's vet will tell me he needs to be retired because of his conditions. I worry that Brom is depressed because, he no longer can be let off leash to run with other dogs & things like that. He can be let off leash to swim only. He is so young how do you explain to him that for the rest of his life he will be unable to run wildly and play with his friends like he used to? But, his vet told me my choices was to restrict his activity this way and, keep him working or, risk him becomming retired, paralized or hurt fataly, if the back problem became worse with such activity. So, of course I decided to follow Doc's orders and keep him working but, I sometimes wonder what kind of life is this for such a young dog? I realize, he was raised to work but, the are allowed to have free time to and he can't really. So, I often wonder is he really happy. Lots of people tell me that he will be just fine as long as he is with me, and also as long has he can work and do his job to please me like he was raised to do he will be fine, but sometimes I wonder if this is true and what Brom is really thinking and feeling.

Brom is doing really well. Doctor says his back seems to have healed for the most part. It will never get completely better and, could get worse again at some point in his life. So, we will always need you to keep us in your prayers as, we will all of you as well. Brom's allergy problems seem to be improving as well. However, starting around Christmas time, I will have to start paying around $300 every 3 months for his allergy shots. So, if everyone would please pray that the good lord willing will help us as this, is going to be great financial strain for us. However, Brom is worth every bit of it and, I would never trade him for the world. He has brought me through so much and, changed my life tremendously. So, I will do the same for him as he has done for me now and forever. he is the wonderous miracle I needed in my life now and always. So, I believe a miracle can happen for him also.

Sorry, I haven't posted or replied in a long time. Things have been very busy and, I lost alot of my AOL mail and I do not know how to retrive it if that is even possible.

Brom and I have been ok. Was busy for a while getting my house in shape for out of town company to come. It was a friend I had never met before who is disabled like me. We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend. The visit went well I think. I think my friend feels the same and hopes to relocate to this area from VA sometime in the future if all goes well. The visit was a little ackward but, I think that is to be expected the first time you meet someone. At least I hope I am not the only one who would feel tha way the first time they met someone. But, all in all I think things went well and look forward to the time when we may see one another again.

SO SO sorry that I have not posted an entry for sometime, letting all of you know how things are going with Brom and I. Brom's Dr. is saying that things with his leg and back, ar3 looking better. So, that is somewhat of a miracle. However, prayers are still strongly needed and always will be. Brom is doing better however, he can NEVER be let of leash EVER again to play freely because, if he was to get hit, bumped, fell, jumped to hard etc. He could be severely paralized or even killed. he is however, allowed off leash to swim which he loves to do. He can also, continue to work full duty at this point which, he loves to do as well. he will have to be on allergy shots administered by me for the rest of his life and, we need to change his food as well do to allergies. But, we are both fighters so together we can make the best of this with our faith, your continued prayers, and best of all God's help.
