Heya folks,
Journals was updated this morning (R8, for those of you who keep track of this kind of stuff), so if anyone noticed some downtime between 4-6am EST that would be why. Although, why on earth would you be UP then? :D
The main fix that went in was to fix some stability issues we've been having - the site should work much better, and much more reliably from now on (yay!). Caching is cool. For those of you using AIM Pages, the Comments module over there got some tweaks as well.
That's all, though. Minor changes this time, but there are larger changes on the horizon (nothing bad, just giving you all some features every other site out there has), so keep your eyes out.
Of course, if there are things you want to see in journals, feel free to comment here or e-mail me anytime...in case you can't tell I'm a blabbermouth, and am always more than willing to talk...to anyone. :)

Thanks for the updates. I would love to see a spell checker in the "Add a Comment" Do I dare admit I keep my copy of 20,000 words close by???
I lived in Maryland for 11 years. At times I really miss it.

Relayed the announcement of the update in my journal, and was bowled over by howls of despair. Fortunately, everything is still working, but a confidence rebuilding exercise may be in order.
