Back from lunch! I had lunch with the blogs team here, and also spent some time running around talking to various people about their stuff, learning what they're doing, begging Marc Canter to take pictures (because my Treo takes awful pics), and asking if we could integrate with various things. I think it's the Web 2.0 version of a pickup line - "let's integrate."
Before lunch the Meebo folks presented their IM client, which, if you're not familiar with it, is an IM/Chat client that lets you use all sorts of different IM platforms (AIM, Y!M, MSN) for login. Yes, I'm talking Trillian style interop. They have a widget (obviously, or else they wouldn't be here) that lets you embed their stuff into a webpage - MySpace was the example they showed.
Now there's a panel on Desktop Widgets, so I'm going to stop typing and actually listen. For a while, anyway.
