I've been spending way too much time with my Playstation 2 lately, working my way through Guitar Hero and Final Fantasy XII. I quickly noticed a big problem with both games, though. The cords for the controllers weren't long enough to deal with where the Playstation fits in my electronics pile. I kept yanking on the controller cord, which just isn't good. I love my Playstation controller (the Nyko Airflow - it has fans in it to keep my hands nice and cool), and obviously, have to use the guitar with Guitar Hero.
So, I visited my dear old friend Ebay, and in no time at all, found a controller extender to use with the guitar, and a "gently used" wireless version of the AirFlow (which apparently isn't being made anymore - the Amazon link is to the wired PC one).
1. Controller extender to allow me to hit those Star Power riffs without pulling the Playstation off of the wall.
2. Nyko Wireless AirFlow controller to keep my hands from getting sweaty as I kill Imperial Guard after Imperial Guard.
3. Not strangling my cat with wires running across the apartment.
Priceless.
On that note, everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving, I'm off to deal with the crowds at the airport. See you all Monday!!
