Snow Success!

As promised, I slept with my pj's on inside out and a spoon under my pillow Monday and Tuesday nights. And wouldn't you know it - Virginia got a teeny bit of snow Tuesday night.

It didn't snow very much, maybe half an inch, but it was enough that once again, I was flying out to California with snow and ice on the plane.

I'm here, though (despite SFO losing power last night), and and ready to get some work done with the Polls and Blogs teams.

Saturday I'm going to a neat conference at Stanford. It's being run by the folks over at Online Community Report, which I've read since a co-worker sent me the link to the site (then a mailing list) over four years ago.

Look for updates from me over the next few days about the conference, and about what we're doing with blogs and polls over the next year - by the time I head back to Virginia, we should have a solid plan in place for '07.

LOVE the Stinking Rose, which is pretty funny for me, since I don't particularly like garlic. There's just something they do with it.. :D

And thanks for the clarification on the conference :)

    Hi Stephanie,

The conference is actually being put together by Noah Kagan, who isn't afiliated with the OC Report... but is still an awesome guy :)

Just wanted to clear the air, and give credit where credit is due. We are just attending CommunityNext.

Thanks for reading the OC Report!
